I have a terrible downswing and it i cant get out of it. Its allready 4days in a row, i never had this experience. Due to bankrollmanagement my bankroll is still ok but i cant get out of it. I win $5 go down $10, i win $10 go down $20, for 4 days! Its terrible.
This month i started break even, then little bit down, then great upswing (+30%). But for now down down down. I dont play different then i used to,play the same but terrible bad beats, and little lucky ones. Almost allways get my money in with best hand and then booooom other hit his 1 or 2 outer!! Bang!!!
Im still make profit (+27%) this month but thats only cos i clear my bonus, when i dont calculate m bonus i'm down -16%, i know this can happen and i'm not worried. I had downswings but not like this and i know i play better then 3 months ago.
Also really bad beats on bubble in tourneys, costs me sometin like $300 for sure. Also missed a satelite with badbeat wud have won a big tourney buyin for $500 +$25.
Lucky i have my bonus else i wud have been little bit disappointed.
Lucky i did good bankrollmanagement and not tilt, so its a good lesson i think, but it hurts a little bit
I never complain when i get bad beats, also not 3/4 in a row but now its for 4 days thats crazy and i'm not gonna complain online poker is rigged cos its not
Lost many AA also last days, but played it right, just bad luck/ bad beats. Lost AA versus JJ, KQo, 66, 77, KJs, JTs and the most worst AKo lol. I know this can happen and not all were bad beats but but but.... grrrrr I lost so many coinflips damn, its not 50/50 like normal but i think 25/75 so its....
So i'm done now I dont go play differently, i just go play my own poker cos i had lots of winnings last months.
And i know this is just a downswing i can handle it

Paul you had to use bankrollmanagement cos it happen like 20 sit n go loses for example. Lucky me i did not experienced this but also pro players have this kind of downswings so keep up the good play paul you wi in the end

I wish I could share all the BRMers optimism that things will turn around but I think my decision is clear that I need to give up online poker because it is impossible for me to win.

Maybe try anothr site paul. For example i cant win at fulltilt so i never go play there anymore
------------ So i tried this evening to get over mu downswing. Played 10 sit n go's. I was really really concentrated.... I lost 8!!! I was 1st and 2nd in the other 2! So again i lost money, my downswing isnotended yet

we all play to much poker sometimes.good to use the three bad beats rule.if you miles ahead and lose on the river three times,get out,it never gets better.just stop playing.i never used to do that.just kept playing ,losing ,losing,losing.now if i get rivered 3 times that day i stop playing for a coulple hours,try again.if same thing stop for a couple days.clear the head,relax,go live a life for awhile,say hello to friends,then start playing poker again.seams to work.you can play tooo much poker online.paul i feel for you dude,you realy are in a mess at the moment.dont know what you can do.think you should make a shrine to the pokergods.may help.throw away any lucky charms cauz they aint working.and if that dont work,theres plenty of bingo sites.

downswings are bad really bad i hate them.i had 2 week downswing about a year ago and when i went preflop allin with aces and got call with JJ i just knew that i will lose the pot and that is so sick

bad luck but that online poker real sicks now many player stop to play at online poker thats the reason for free bankroll now because many players left online poker

just keep playing good and get your money in the middle with the best hand and you will win the money in long run.if they suck out off you.dont matter the main thing is to play better poker than the fishes!

Downswings are a part of poker while it really is weird if you think about it, how is that possible while the % always stay the same of hitting cards.For some reasson i need to get a good explanation for that because it's weird.However if you use good management you will be able to not lose that much..

Mine continues with absolute garbage again. I know I am supposed to win money off donkeys in the long run but try this one on.
Chip leader at a table with 7K and I pick up AJ in middle position. 1 limper ahead of me so I raise to 240 (30/60 blinds) and the short stack moves allin 2 positions later. By the time it gets back to me there is almost 2500 in the pot for me to make a call of 350 so I call. Flop is Js3d3s so in my eyes there is plenty in the pot for me to isolate and try to protect my hand. Checked to me so I put in a pot sized bet about 2,100 enough to put anyone else in the hand allin and of course I get a caller.
Turns a blank and the river is a 2s and of course moron who put in 500 preflop and 1900 on the flop has 10s6s WTF (Js over 3s was good if the spade doesnt hit). The guy then has the nerve to sit there and rave about what a good call that was BOTH preflop and on the flop. Do these people actually believe this crap? I mean no respectable player would see this as a good investment of chips in a tourney right?
Every downswing ends someday. Some people says that it`s not a dwonswing but not good played cards. Idon`t believe them. I think that it`s just bad luck- downswing and that`s it.
