it depends that if the pot was raised preflop and what the flop cards are? like if the flop was 7 8 9 and i have set of 7 i would be a little worried but if the flop is 2 3 4 i would be worried

easy.. pot starts small... check - call pot shouldn't be too big if someone flopped flush cos they want people to give them action! and you have outs.. pairing the board etc.. unless there is a bundle of action (which on a flush board there shouldnt be) then you shouldnt lose much at all and should come out ahead most of the time

Today I was playing a tournament and I noticed that a lot of people went preflop all in with 55 or 44... Is this normal because i would never do that. I would do it with JJ QQ KK AA but never with 44
If you flop a set you can't fold, unless there is for example 3 clubs on the flop and that you flop set of Jacks, someone bet and someone reraise that bet before you ...

In my opinion 55, 44,.. preflop all in is not the right thing to do unless you are heads up or your stack is way to low to survive the blinds. The bigger the blinds the looser i get. In the beginning of the tournament the blinds are not worth stealing so i only play big pocket pairs, AK and maby AQ depending on the situation (i'll see cheap flops with any pocket pair). If the BB is 100+ i start to play more hands and trie to steal the blinds more often. I play my low pocket pairs agressive if there is no action before me but never call big raises/all-ins with them.
As for flopping a set on a board with the possibility of a flush, it depends on your read on the other player. If he is a calling station that never bets and all of a suddon he does your probably beat. However if there was some reraising action preflop he might have a higher pocket pair (maby one of the cards is of the right suit) or a higher/lower set (doesn't happen that often but it happens) You should also take your own tableimmage into consideration, do you have the immage of being verry agressive, have you been cought bluffing a few times etc.
then its easy: the probability of flopping a flush about 0,96% so it would be +ev in my opinion to bet double potsize cause in 99,04% of all cases villain only has got a flush draw and with 66% calling size he cant call the bet...
and if he has the flush already it would be bad luck but u would have 5 outs( ur 4th jack, 2* 3s and 2* 7s) + two random cards which have to be same like 5s 5h.
so u would have the full house , u r better than the flush and win the pot.
we will make summary:
there r 10 different cards rest in deck muliplied with 4 colours
opportunity that u will get two same cards for ur full house would be:
2,14% for turn card * 10= 21,4% for turn
2,19% for river card * 3 = 6,57% for river
means 6,57% of 21,4%=0,0141% cummulative
+ your 5 outs( two 3s two 7s and 1 jack) *2,14=10,7%
5 outs*2,19%=10,95%
so there would be an opportunity of: 0,0141% + 10,7% + 10,95%=21,6641% that u beat him ALTHOUGH he flopped the flush
makes a cummulative risk of about (0,783359 * 0,96)=0,75%of going broke with that hand according to your concerning
plz tell me if u find a mistake, but i guess i calculated it right.

I lost 1 of my biggest pots ever this way, i made the nut flush on the turn and he had trips Qs, for him it was an instacall when i pushed allin with a $1700 stack. And yes the board paired instantly because he played that so well *urgh ......
so ok 7 outs but the small probability for getting runner runner paired board would then give a few percent more like 7 outs.... or isnt it like that way?
