I always feel a little mad when I'm finished at the BRM freerolls at pokerstars, I don't like the fact that the passwords are being spread all around the internet!
1. Making another freeroll-serie, where the password is being mailed to the players who want to participate and have proven to be active at the site and are not only here to spread the passwords, in the mail there should be a warning: when there are more players registered than possible (= amount of players who are mailed) we will stop the freerolls asap!!!
2. No prizepool at the freerolls themselves, but just a leaderboard.
What do you think of these, could it work? Or have you got any other solutions for this, for this HAS to be fixed if possible in MY opinion!

don't forget, BRM has 600k members. I would bet most of the people playing in the freerolls are indeed members. And the persons leaking the password on other sites are also members here. So #1 wouldn't change anything anyway.
2) This actually intrigues me and should be discussed further
That said, I don't think there is much to be fixed. Just because a guy isn't on the forums doesn't mean he isn't a member. I don't think you have any way of knowing who is/isn't.

Well I do know that there aren't only active BRM there, but that's a good point.
Maybe we could make another freerolserie for the active-forummembers. Well... while writing the previous sentence it seems to be a liitle selfish and for too few people...

A really good freeroll I can whole heartedly recommend, is the $200 BRM one on party. You only have to clear a few points and the quality is good. 30 players, $200 prize, top 9 pay

I suggested number 2 a few years ago but it wasn't taken up.
What you need to realize is the free-rolls aren't really there for the benefit of BRM members they are actually there to drive traffic to the BRM site. It's not in BRM's interest to change things.

I think number 2 is a great idea actually. It would eliminate all the chancers and leave just the people who actually wan't to play for the leaderboard. Admin, make it happen!
