I sometimes get bored when playing an MTT thats why I prefer turbos
Lets say for example I will play a few SNGs and keep getting ITM so I carry on playing, then I get bored of the doing the same thing. I will go and do something else non poker for either a few hours or till the next day.
This does not happen often for two reasons -FIRST -The adrenalene rush that poker gives is addictiv and SECOND-I LOVE THIS GAME

I always take extended breaks from poker. I have only played about 170 SNGs since the beginning of May. i go through a lot of periods of not playing. I am a winning player but just want to do other things than sit at my computer all the time. It does get stale sometimes and you should take breaks.

Yes me too sometimes, sometimes i'm literally on full tilt! But it got me bored only once, that was 4 months ago, I quit and now I'm back for, I guess, 6 days and I now hope to really be able to build up a bankroll
Sometimes I get bored when game lasts too long and it's night. I play very loose when it's happen. I think like:"Or I will win more chips, or I will win a sleep" Actually, it's a selfdestructive and very bad.

yea i get bored when the play is too slow, for example , freerolls on duck poker and pokerminds. the players play so slow that sometimes i go allin when i know i can't win just to leave the game, and then i shut the site down and don't play there for a while.

Occasionally I have but that is why I just have a night or two off until I love for it comes back. You should never played poker when bored though as it has messed up my game before.
I don't know if it counts, but I fall asleep a lot in between hands (only when freerolling late at night). I need the audio beep to wake me up. But after an hour or so I've gotten enough rest to stay awake, while still not having played all that bad...

Being used to cash games I had a hard time playing tournaments, they're super long and at the time it was really boring. After 2 hours I couldn't stand it. But I got used to it, if you love the game like you do those boring moments shouldn't las too long

Well sometimes I skip a part, I just sit-out and refresh myself to be fully concentrated after. Only with a big stack by the way, else you will be out without doing anything. And it decreases your chances of being out IMO because you have less risk of misplaying hands or even make a bad all-in decision!
It could be that it isn't true, than please correct me!

Yes it has happened in the past when i was grinding often. At some point i didnt even want to see cards and i was doing other stuff along with my game resulting in a loss of course. I took a break from it and did other stuff.
If you have no interest for the game itself it is better not to play.

I think that if you play anything for too long, boredom can become a big factor. Taking a break from the game can be a very good thing and you nearly always come back refreshed and making better decisions

Doing the same thing every day it take a lot of effort from your brain,routine come with a price.But if gain something from daily work is easier to came next day at tables..Alternate the sections,turbo,sng,video training .Good luck

yes especcialy the long tourney,s they can be boring as hell sometimes but ifound something for that problem. i just open a television channel beside de tourney
I also like the turbo mtt, But when you play lots of tournaments a day.... And for example you start a few 10 min blinds tourneys... Then you open a few turbo's mtt...and keep doing that for the day... It doesnt matter then iff i have a few 6/7 hours tourneys, You wont even notice

I am learning to play other variations of poker just to avoid that bored excuse, however when I am not playing poker its Call of duty or Grandtheft Auto 5....
I do not watch much TV at all, I love movies though and gaming.

i got bored while playing the 888poker 24-7 freerolls , god i hate them , everytime i got tickets , my brain forces me to play every one , because the tickets expires after 24 hours and they have a freeroll every hour so i end up playing them till i fall sleep i don't want pass the opportunity of free money but still every hour is way too much
