Don't Believe in the long run  0
I don't get it at all. I flop 2 pair with my A4off from the blinds and I bet it strong from second position 160 into a 120 pot at low levels. Get the allin raise from next player basically for same stack I have. Sit there and think about it he didn't raise preflop and theres A47 rainbow on the flop so I am not too worried about a set and if he has a set I do have outs so I call. Hes got 25 suited and the turn is a 3 for his wheel. Where do people get off moving allin with gutshots against strong bets?

I dare anyone at all to tell me I played this hand wrong and what I could have done differently because it is the same tune over and over again for me: get my money in ahead and get sucked out on.

Wow, you open a thread because of one "badbeat", i suppose this was a tourney (freeroll?).
Really making me tired to read those "I just lose"-threads.
I know you read this few times before but :

This Is Poker

isnt the question even more: why continue with poker when:

a) i loose only

b) it does not give me a good time anymore

c) i dont expect that to get better nor can any advice help me

d) i believe its rigged

sorry, but i dont get it... why bother with something you dont enjoy anyways? Confused

Well, a very unlucky beat for You, but here's what struck me:

"he didn't raise preflop and theres A47 rainbow on the flop so I am not too worried about a set"

See, You should have been VERY worried about a set with someone going all in.
I know that there are LOTS of donkeys, but in general it means something when people put in all their chips.

And: Getting sucked out is very good. Because You can only get sucked out if You sttart with a stronger hand, that is if You are playing good poker. In the long run You will make a profit from opponents like that.

You say You dont believe in the long run, but how long are You playing poker.
There are 2,598,960 different poker hands in a 5 card game.
Compare this to a dice with 6 numbers on it. If YOu throw the dice 6 times then YOu will not have 123456 showing up in most cases. How about 100 throws. It`s going to be very close to the statistics then. So a long run in opker probably consists of some million hands played, and I really doubt You made that at age 23.

But nevertheless I wish Youu more winning hands ( unless we play each other)

You got extremely unlucky and all of us had this happened atleast 1 time.I also seen people moving allin with the weirdest hands and make it, i just think he tried to put you of your hand and if it didn't work he had outs..

Look I am not saying I have played millions of hands but when I am consistently getting money in ahead I would assume that I would not have to play millions for the occasional winning streak. I know all about variance but I never see the good side and it isn't that I don't enjoy online poker because I do but I am sick of being punished for playing better cards than the donkeys I get put at a table with.

I also hate this freeroll or bust attitude people have. There is a prize and you wouldn't play it if that prize meant absolutely nothing to you so play sensibly.

For the record I have said many times I do NOT think online poker is rigged just not representative of the actual math behind the game.

As long as You don`t play enough hands You cannot expect a statistical outcome.
So if You only play 1000, 3000 or 5000 hands then Your stats cannot represent the math behind the game. Don`t get me wrong: Playing a million hands doesn`t guarantee You a statistical outcome but is is much more likely.

And what else does it mean that the game is not representative of the actual math?
It means that it's rigged, because there is no other way to get around the math.

My main point:
Being an 80% favorite in poker doesn`t mean You will win 8 out of 10 hands.
It doesn't even mean YOu will win 80 of 100.
It rather means You will win 80.000.000 of 100.000.000
And at that amount of hands You'll find the game represents the math pretty well.
