I think that i will get in the game after all i postponed the birthday party for Sunday let's hope i will be able to deposit, because at the moment they dont seem to let me ( after i lost my whole bankroll in one hand)
Okay, next year then go with the current system but make a purge at the rigged place - I mean delete everbodys membership - and you only allowing those back who make a donation into the prizepool at the current home game. Otherwise I'm sorry but I really don't see a reason for nitpicking, if this tourey really just for community members who are posting - meaningfully - here frequently then only a dozen or half a dozen people (and of course flashfaust's ghost) would play.
Or we should really just stick to playmoney and the 'for fun' format without even BRM's gift.

I say, providing that there's a buy-in all should be welcome. Those buy-ins ARE contributing to the prize pool.
If however we make it a play money (freeroll) tourney and the only prize fund is from donations then yes it should be regs only. But not necessarily only if you've contributed to the current game. Donations to past games should be taken into consideration. I almost couldn't donate this year. I have however donated to every homegame in the past. It would seem harsh if I was excluded because I couldn't donate one time.
Thing is, it's worked fine, up until now, under the current system so I don't see the need for a change.

i have a clue that someone doesn't want to let you in, since the 1st post is a request to joint the club... you might be looking suspicious to the public at the tables in the rigged place... who knows maybe you will bring a bomb with you to the club and then demand to let you win or else...
Please please please can i be security for the X Mas Games. Nothing will get past me, I do feel sorry for ZippoMob. I also have my suspicions, therefore it will be a full body search and that includes rectum internal search. Yes i called it rectum because with my fat fingers it will be wrecked when i finished. Do you still wanna join ZippoMob?

Your a regular champ, For the staunch regulars I'm sure we could help each other out. We can transfer $$$ to get you and other regular mobsters in.
Right i am gonna put this out there, Some funds lets say up to 20 regulars, can use $1.10 out of the bounty on me BUT only if everybody agrees. And of cause if Mr. Pochui agree's as he has to transfer the coin. But please new people you must understand, it is for regulars only as times around Christmas are tough and I think all regulars should be in the games

i've already done this some time ago, so everyones in the rigged club (well maybe 95%) are true mobbits and have been with BRM some time already, maybe some of them are not active in the forum, but they have been registered a while back.

i am not nitpicking- to me personally there is one and only one category of mobbits that really piss me off- registered 1-2 months ago, no posts whatsoever = no presence whatsoever... and there they go and try to get in and get a piece of the donations. only way those people should get in imo is to donate for home game themselves.

cool- meet u at the tables

no it's "our club" = club for the mobbits.

sure they contribute to the prizepool, but added donations make this tourney very +EV so i this is not an ordinary tourney... i personally like to contribute with a small donation as long as i know that this helps to beef up the prizepool and let some regular mobbit to walk away with a nice xmas present... but i don't like to see those who appear just in time for tourney and are never seen again to be part of it, unless they donate themselves or it's a "no donation at all" policy

absolutely, and there is no way you could be excluded for not donating- no one would, as long as they are regular forum members, have some posts, have been registered not in the last 2 days or so... no donations is needed to make the cut.

me tend to agree.
but a small adjustment wouldn't hurt imho:
* if you are a newly registered mobbit (within a year or so) and haven't been active on the forum- you must donate if you want to play or you can build your profile by being active in the forum and make the cut without any donations (though you are still welcome to donate)

Pochui let me know if it is ok or not
sure thing- as long as we're talking about regulars it's no problem. so 20 buy-ins right? and i should deduct them from your bounty and transfer to those who want?

ok as long as you are taking the responsibility for him (and he still wants to join) then we can let him in.

My cashout from netbet should be processed this time tomorrow so I will be making a donation of $5 but I think I read somewhere in this thread that British players can't transfer to European players anymore is that right?

Posted by damosk: Well...... I have my ticket for a 2k freeroll all in tourney which is tomorrow night. I have registered and all we have to do now is wait and see what the poker gods bring. I may win nothing, but if I win something, the Xmas home game gets a proportion of it. Fingers crossed.
Unfortunately I did not win anything, so I will transfer my $7 to Pochui, if stars will let me!

The game is on 20th. It starts at 20 o'clock. I am the 20th person registered. The prize pool is $20 (on the stars site) Post 160 on this thread is 20 multiplied by 8. 8 o'clock is 20 oclock. It's now 20 minutes past 12. I only hope I don't end up in 20th position!
POCHUI....$7 transfered to your stars account my good man. I would like to continue my number 20 theme and allocate the whole $7 of my donation to the player who finishes in 20th position in the tourney.
