Unbelievable AA vs. J7  0
Last night I played hold'em with my friends.. we were 6..

After some time I get the best hand one can have.. AA.. I was low stacked.. it was my chance to hit it..

My friend who's playing style is rly agressive raised the BB 2x.. I reraised it 6x.. he called.. with J7.. Flop came J27.. I thought ok, now I got him surely.. he betted.. I went all-in.. he called and I thought .. hm?.. ok.. very nice.. then the turn came J again.. and I looked at his cards and just couldn't believe my eyes... Sad

But it was very entertaining and fun Big Smile everyone was stunned Big Smile

he just thought your low stack was worth the call if he had alot of chips.AA always tuff.if you reraised all in preflop he might have folded cauz once he saw the flop, you were finished, unless ace river, which, didnt come,so just a crappy beat.boink Aww crap!

Yeah you're right there, everything should have been played preflop against a chipleader while holding Aces. But better luck next time Sir.

I must say i really appreciae your attitude guys! You have understood thate there can't be a complain everytime a favourite hand got beated on the board... it happens otherewise there wouldn't be the need of a board and poker would turn into "the high" card wins" ...

80% favorite against another player, that means everytime you go all in pre-flop you give your opponent 20% of busting you. Lower stakes, I don't even think twice, but higher stakes, are you willing to bet it all based on 80%? Something to think about...

If you are not willing to put your chips in with aces, then tourneys are nothing for you. Most play in a tourneys is before or after the flop. Later streets are rarely relevant, because at least one player will be all-in by the turn. So a better situation then 80/20 will rarely happen.

You are right sir, I rarely play tourneys, I am a cash player Thumbs Up and the comment was pointed at cash games. You are right again, tourneys are a completely different game, although the math is the same, it's a whole different scenario. Take care...

If you're really a that hard bad beater, go look at the PartyPoker jackpot tables Smile
If you lose a nice hand (dunno i think it was 4oak or sth), you get about 200k atm
