freeroll is for all members of bankrollmob, so evryone have a chance to participate in leaderboard... but some "mobsters" share password on facebook, twiter and other social network... if there is someone to blame is those "mobsters"

Posted by LebronHEAT: Maybe we can do it like Cardshat. They hide the passwords to everybody who doesn't fullfill some requirements.
I think it's to write some posts at the Forum. Everybody who let's say wrote 30 Posts will be able to see the Password.
Maybe this could be the solution. Not exactly this, but the Idea. I mean I don't care, just wanted to give some input
I like your idea... but 30 is little, some members can come here write 30 post and keep to share password... Mine solution is that you must have 100+ post here to see password, and password to be available 5 or eve 2 min before tournament... that would cut down almoust all password thiefts...

I do think you guys always over-estimate how many people play these games that aren't on BRM.
BRM has like 600,000 members and only 50ish regular forum users. That is a whole lot of people who you wouldn't have any idea if they are members or not.

You have to consider that BRM is a business. Why would they change things, what would be in it for BRM? Not BRM members but BRM the business?
Leaked passwords will drive some traffic to this site. It's what sent me here. It's not in their interest to change things.
As much as we love this site we have to keep things in perspective. It was not set up for our benefit it is a money making venture for the owners and we are a product being sold to the poker sites.

This question has been asked many times on this forum and it appears BRM are happy with the way the freerolls are. Most people playing are probably members of BRM as IQA says and in a business sense it probably does make lots of freeroll/new players aware of the site who will maybe go to BRM and take a few no deposit bonuses. I would maybe play them if the prizes were BRM points or safe shots but that could turn it into a massive all-in bingo tournament or maybe to claim any winnings you had to redeem a code on the BRM site so only members could actually win anything.

I absolutely agree, that it is so unfair that a lot of sites give out the paswords of our freerolls. Something should definitely be done about it. On Pokkerstrs there are thousands of people playing these tournaments - ridiculous.
I think that must be better if tournaments registration periods would be shorter just 1 minute and maybe no need late registrations ~ i think, like on (PS) and or should be the password announce time shorter. In my opinion these changes would give more fun to BRM freerolls and fewer chance to put passwords onto social medias.

as I understand this way is better for owners of brm... because more leaks there are, more potential mobsters would join this site... more mobsters= more money for owners...so I dont think there would be changes...

Nothing will ever change. Theres a better chance for the freerolls to be removed all together then there is for the issue to be fixed. Its been goin on for years and will go on for years. Better off just accepting it

Does it really matter though, your going to get sucked out on by idiots whether there are more or less entrances regardless. Unless your a member who is actually being serious about the leaderboards then that would be a very big annoyance.
