Well mate, it this is your christmas day today I am wishing you a Merry Christmas. But I am a little bit surprised that your christmas is coming that late. What do orthodox christians celebrate then? Is it also the birth of Jesus Christ? If so, why do the dates differ?

That's humanity in its best. We can never end up agreeing in something. Always someone knows better, and in this case the "followers" act accordingly. All Christians at the end but with different dates.

We Serbians are Christian also, just not catolic, but orthodox... so is Russians, Greeks, Etiopians, and a few more...I dont know for others but our Serbian church is counting days by Julian calendar, not Gregorian as all others do, so we are late in evrything for 14 days, we celebrate christmas 14 days later, and new year... we call it "Serbian New year"
