Ive been playing on pkr for years, anyway just tried to deposit 10 dollars , and they wont let me, I talked to the live chat and they want proof of my identity !! bloody ridiculous , have never had this on any other site , they want to make sure im over 18 !, im 60 . anyway I put the money on full tilt . has anyone else had this problem ?

Hey there. I think that depends. For example at pokerstars they don't ask you for ID verification or age. Because at sign-up you have to enter your credentials... so maybe it is better to proove them in order for you not to have this issue in the future

That is not a problem... on most poker sites you must prove your identity... But I think you made the right choice by deposit on Full Tilt, that is one of the best poker clint, and you can install also pokerstars, and you can transfer your money from FT to PS and other way
I don't play on PKR, but I had the same thing last week when depositing on Full Tilt, with my GoPlay Mastercard (from Party Poker). The deposit was declinded, and they want a picture of ID, CreditCard, bank statement, and of me holding the ID and CreditCard...
Seems a bit much, since I've deposited multiple times from Skrill and EntroPay, when moving money between sites. They froze my account as well... I'll comply, but I find it strange this happened...

Like bowie1984, in some pokersites you have to confirme some details for deposit or cashout, or maybe to get register and start to play, other pokersites like PS, dont use that at the extreme, but have other metods to know things and know your age or your region, or if you are a criminal, but other pokersites have restrictions maybe for start to play have to deposit, others you need to make some points to cashout, and dont need to deposit, will be diferent for pokersite to pokersite, depends what is in the terms and conditions, all legal and a safe place for players.

I have seen a few site that where asking for a lot of documentations most of the time when you want to cas out but not when you deposit.
But this i the first time hear about a pic. of you holding ID and credit card.
This is crazy. I dont know if you had much money in your account but for a small amount i would have tell them to keep it and close my account.

first of all u need some proof of identification and before depositing first always put in your mind that read term and conditions on every single pokersite...
