I another thread i said that i would stop playing this game for real money cause there is to many downswing.
But since i like this game i am playing it with play money with entry fee of 100K. Since i have played many of them every day and i am now around 3 millions over.

Yes it could be good practice for playing poker but it depends of the players involved in the games.
A lot of time its just a bingo game and the pleasure of the game is not there but you also have some people that are serious and then it become a very nice game of poker and give you pride when you win.

Is the play money games any good for learning?Whenever I have looked at play games I just see people playing every hand they get dealt no matter what,it's a shame as it could be good practice for beginners.

well i played play money poker some time ago, i find it only useful to learn the ropes of new game, grow accustomed to it and then it's time to hit the real money tables. play money is really just a waste of time- if you don't want any risks play freerolls, at least you leave yourself a chance of winning sth there.

I agree. In this point after you have played so many games it is kinda useless playing for play money. At least if it is the only game you play. If you are playing freerolls with it at the same time then its better. Making something is always better than making nothing

Pinotte, playing play money, like someone said, is a waste of time, because, most part of playing there, is against looser players, guys that go every hand and play every single board, so you dont get experience how play in real money, so like someone above said, start playing on freerolls, yes are donks and hands that is strange, but so on play money, but in real money you can do something, start to practice you moves and sometimes you will win, sometimes you will lose, but is freerolling, went you have some cash, and you wont start play more and maybe against better player, so you there you have some the knowledge to make the diference, because you in play money have millions of chips, but how cares, if you continous maybe you will lose all. But some way if you are playing play money and having fun ok, keep going, poker has make for some guys have fun, others to make money and other to make stupidities.
