Always raise enough to keep chases and fish out of it
dont raise to much and dont raise to less
well you get the point
Dont let anyone get cheap cards

raise 5-6xBB and if someone reraises, reraise em back,or go allin.never just call reraise, you realy wanna have yourself going heads up.if you get 3 or 4 callers, things gunna get ugly.NEVER SLOW ROLL ACES. Smile

Ya, try to get headsup. Maybe 3 players the most. Anymore than 2 other players is just gambling. And if you're deep stacked, raise more.

If you only get it down to 3 players, then you have around 50% chance of winning, so get ready to fold, raise re-reaise rere-raise, you want this heads up.

Be aggressiv preflop, use common sense after the flop. AA is the best possible starting hand and a huge favorite against one opponent. So try to get it heads up before the flop. Usually betting and raising is the thing to do. So you bet if no one had entert the pot. Is there a raise before you act, reraise. If all the money goes in before the flop it would be optimale

My opinion: Never never never never slowplay AA never.
I did it in the past sometimes you win little more chips but many times you an loose the hand.

I suggest you to raise 4 BB + 1BB for each player who entered the pot in order to play it heads up. After the flop you can bet or if you think he got a pair check raise... by the way don't ever let you opponent get to the river

I play only tourneys and with AA i almost always play all-in, good way to size the stack and then it's much easier to go on. I love situations when guy before me calls all-in with AK and i call with AA. Never loosed with this combination.

In early stage its not a good thing to go allin with AA, you just scary people away from the pot and all you win are blinds.
you can win much more chips just raise high and hope you get 1 caller.

Offcourse when blinds get higher sometimes best way to do is simply go allin with AA Smile

I agree with doomdy... nobody wuold call an early all in with AK expecially in the first rounds of the tournament... of course i'm talking about high level poker... if you play low stakes or free money everything is good Smile

It depends on what site you play, but most of the time you have a file called handhistory or something like it in your pokerroom directory.
Just search for the hand and copy paste it in here. If you want to make it easier to read for us, just google 'poker hand converter' and hit the top one.
Also if you want to make it easier to find a hand or review your play, get Pokertracker or pokeroffice, it's very helpfull.

As for the aces, just keep raising and reraising preflop, even when people don't call you, don't start limping it utg/middle because your afraid nobody will call you.

It sounds like the flops are killing you. Are you betting enough chips pre-flop in order to Isolate your hand? Too many people play tghe hand , those AA will get beat everytime.

Are you kidding me, in early stages ppl will call much hight BB raises than later on, so a normall raise x3-4 is weak for AA you will get callers and face losing cus we all know folding AA is hard, either make a big raise 10xBB or just push it, the game has its bigest donk factor early on so you may get A*s PP, thinking they are good to call.
No shame in going out first with AA, you could even slow play early expecting the table to sus each outhe out, and hope for a raise then you push or re-raise for extra.
If a flop comes then THINK.

so the moral of the story is,go hard or go home, never back down, heads up situation is best, best of luck. Big Smile

"Never back down" is not a good idea. If the opponent got to see the flop cheap, and then puts a lot of money in on every street after the flop, it is doubtfull that your lonely pair is still good.

After all, aces are just one pair.

When you hit the big one AA you want the hand heads-up, at the max 2 other players in the hand. (make the raise so big before the flop that the other players belive in you´ve got the Aces) PLAY IT HARD - MAKE ÉM PAY!!! At times you will run into "Donks" who will call ANYTHING, ANYTIME and you will loose with pocket Aces many times - with time you will learn how to play ém right.... when to fold, when to play, NEVER NEVER fold AA pre-flop. Good luck with it mate Blink

Always raise enough to be heads up with someone, the chances are they are playing suited connectors or small pocket pair, be aggressive but don't over do it because AA is not always the best hand after the flop comes.

Look at the players you are playing against try and work out whether they have a hand or not and make a decision if you get re raised on the flop fold.

If a flush draw or straight draw is there they may well be raising with that but if they hit it your drawing dead so just get out of there.

I've had AA 3 times on action poker and won all of them, don't know whether i was lucky or played them right but it's just knowing when to fold and bet.

Cheers Andy
