Online poker operator, PokerTrillion, today issued statement saying it had been successful in persuading Judge Gino Camilleri of the First Hall Civil Court, Malta in allowing the company to “enforce seizure” of the Boss Media Malta Limited and Boss Media AB servers.
According to the statemnet this means the servers will stop being used for commercial activity from Sept. 18, 2008.
“Today’s decision will in effect bring down Boss Media’s operation in their licensed jurisdiction of Malta on September 18,” said PokerTrillion CEO Andy Pyrah, “and any partner still on the Boss (IPN) Poker Network at this stage will see their service closed down too”.
The judge also stipulated that full accounts of the revenue generated by the equipment be disclosed.
PokerTrillion has embroiled in a multi-million euro lawsuit against Boss Media AB for breach of contract. It is unclear at this point what the nature of the alleged breach is.
Pyrah said PokerTrillion had been successful in every application filed with the Maltese courts so far including having the garnishee order increased from €5 million to €20 million. “This in turn means that there is now a €20million freezing order on all Boss Media’s assets within this jurisdiction," explained Pyrah, "and in accordance with European law we will be applying for this to be executed all over Europe."
Boss Media, a gaming software provider from Sweden which was recently delisted from the Swedish stock exchange, had made no public comment at the time of writing.

And all this hazzle only because Poker Trillion had to leave the Boss media network for violating the rakeback rules there. Looks a lot like a revenge thing. Over at casinomeister this topic is dicussed also. There the guy from Boss media posted a statement that their service would continue.

yeah i heard the same thing it is just vendetta ! i play at pokerkings, so i hope this really is just a revengething because right now i have my whole BR there and like playing at kings,nice rakeback, lots of fishes ... hope p***********y gives statement soon about there partner pokerkings !
