Posted by marqis: Thanks! It was quite a long HU battle, with a few up and downs. I play very few MTTs lately, it's always a great feeling taking it down.

Well done Marqis on what looks like a well deserved victory. Once again I couldn't make it as I was tied up playing other games with limited facility to multi screen.
PINOTTE, bad luck with your losing hand. It's always a bummer when a hand like that turns up.... It has happened to me a few times recently, usually my AA or KK v 99 which comes good on the river. Keep your chin up.

Oh, i see marqis took that tournament. Congratulations very nice win. pinotte you were unlucky of course, had them all till that river. I bet that you could have hit the final table if you had won that pot. Better luck next time.
This is by far the best way to spend your points IMO. With a $200 prize pool for about 50 players, the expected value is $4. The entry fee is 5 points ($2.50 rake), so the rakeback percentage is 160%... Sweet...
If you compare this to the "Weekly Silver loyalty", which has a $600 prize pool for about 200 players, so EV is about $3, but the buyin is 40 Points ($20 rake), so rakeback is only 15%
I play that one too, and got a 2nd place last month for $70,20, on the same day that I got 3rd place in the BRM freeroll.

Congratulations to you Marqis... I have seen you play this lots of times so about time you won it.It is definitely worth the 5 points and there is usually a decent game.I just wish it had been kept at the 8pm starting time.
