PokerStars released a statement yesterday in the forum 2 + 2 regarding the use of third party software, making it clear that it is prohibited to use Skier_5s new software and gradual changes are expected.
Steve Day wrote:
"After an exhaustive than read here and a long internal debate consideration, we decided to go ahead in principle with the proposed changes in the release. We still have to make some final decisions and also to make sure we are comfortable with our ability to detection and enforcement. Meanwhile we will be in contact with some software programmers regarding their existing applications to clarify the roles that could violate rules coming, so they can have time to make the appropriate changes.
There are announcing an immediate change. The principle of this conversation was a certain software that provides graphical efficiently recommendations for HUSNG (Skier_5s). Effective immediately, this software and can not be used while the PokerStars client is open.
I want to make absolutely clear that we are steadily moving towards new restrictions on third-party software in the future. There is a significant probability that in the next year or two our policies are significantly more restrictive than even the proposal in the statement. Our intention is to implement the change gradually over time, ensuring that our detection capabilities and internal application are able to keep up with the rules and that the community has enough time to adapt.
I have nothing to share about how far we can go in the future in our third-party software restriction. We will continue to consider and evaluate information and additional input before making every decision.
Thanks to all who provided their thoughts on this subject. "Steve said.

It's about time they put restriccoines to help software online poker If you were inventing ever more advanced programs would completely undermine the poker The poker should be played without any kind of technological support, as was initially The programs are killing poker and soon a machine would do well to follow our work Well PokerStars finally took a positive resolution
