well dear mobsters I am realy thinking to quit poker...and it all goes like this... I had around 300$ acc yesterday, which all I grinded from cash games. Yesterday I played my standard session of 4 tables NL5, and finished it with -7$, so as I usualy do, I go to play 7$ spins... there I got to -50$ and than to break even to 300$, but I wanted to play one more to be in plus... so it went down to -200$, and I went to sleep because it was late tonigh... today I continue to play spins, and returned most of my money, I was down only 30$, and I tought I could make it, but it all went down, and now I got 0$ in my acc... well I got around 1500FPP which I will use tomorow for silverstar tournament, and on sunday to play some satelites and to buy bigger 11 ticket, and that will be it... If I do not win anything I think my poker carier is done...I dont have strainght to rebuild it again... Funny thing all 3, or 4 times when my acc went busted, it always got busted on spins...

I am very sorry to learned that you have busted your BR however you are saying that 3 or 4 times you busted was on spin & go and you did not learned of these in going back playing this gambling game which IMO is the same as a slot machine. You are doig good in poker just stick to it and build up your BR.

Thats tuff man. I often bust hundreds of $ playing spins. Its the price u pay if you like the thrill of fast cash. Can go from 5$-300$ back to 0 in hours so it keeps u wanting more. If you do decide to keep playing you can always restrict yourself from playing them or drop down to 3$ spins. Goves you much more buyins to work with and still fast cash. Im up about 130$ playin them over 4days and less then as many hours. I do enjoy the 7$ games myself as i find the higher the buyin the higher the payouts tend to be. Id say over 20 or so 15$ games ive played recently ive only had 2-3 2x payouts the rest 4-10x. i thought about dropping them as well since i got a decent roll going but fcuk there fast, fun and addictive lol

I can say one thing - Spin and Go is the lamest thing that you can play if you are willing to build bankroll or just want to make some money , as they are made to just play fue for luck of a big spin and hope to get it down , if not leave it as fast as you can , because thunder doesn't hit twice in the same place

Of cause the spins bust you. That is when you play for big money, and even a short run of bad luck will wipe out your bankroll. Stop chasing your losses in that way. It will always bring you in trouble.

so if you stop playing spins- you bust your account no more. simple huh? if you feel addiction for spins at least you can have a separate account just for spins and one for grinding...

Sounds that you are on tilt in the last session and lost now the motivation to play. But sometimes it was a good idea to make a break and try a restart with a personal challenge with new motivation and without gambling games like spin etc.

I'm not plased to read this - but if you play NL5 and everytime you have a losing session (btw. losing sessions should be around 40% of your total sessions if you dont run extra good or bad), you go playing 7$ spins (wtf??), then this was just a matter of time. And it will happen over and over again, if you dont change something.
I mean, I seen HU hyper-turbo regs (almast the same as spinngo) having a 200-300 buyin downswings in few days (imagine that, huh? )... so this 42 buyin downswing is just a common thing.
If you still have those 1500 FPP use them to play some FFP satelittes and then sell that T$ you get and you should have around 25-30$ back in your bankroll and have a fresh start at NL2. This time choose your game and stick to it. You can grind spins if you want but you should have at least 100 buyins in your bankroll, at least! You see why. Remember ,poker is a marathon, not a sprint and you should be long-term orianted. Only a few very lucky guys can make it other way. Don't rely on luck, its better to rely on yourself. Losing sessions are normal part of the game, everyone has them. Stick to your game and dont get carried away.

well all the time exept last time I build my acc from 0, from freerolls, and always I got to around 100$ and than this phucking spins blow it away... last time I didnt play freerolls, I made deposit from money from BRM... about 70$ and made it to 300$... never had more on my ps acc...and I know how hard is to build your acc from 0, and I dont know if I have energy to do it... I will play some satelites for FPP's and save them to play silverstar tornaments, and if I got some serious $, like 200$ from them, I will continue to grind on cash game and request from ps to ban me from playing spins... if I win less, I will go again to play spins, all or nothing... to try to reach thse 300$ that I lost... If I reach I will again contact ps suport to ban me from spins, if I dont, I will quit poker, and thats it...I played spins now because last 3 times I made profit from them, and I tought I was realy good at it... but I was wrong...now as always, I am saying to myself, its better that I never played those spins...

From reading on this forum you have won money playing poker and are probably good enough to make profits from the game.I don't think you need to quit playing poker-just quit playing spins-if you like playing those type of games then maybe play poker and just reserve a small percentage of winnings for spin games,say 20% or so.Good Luck.

At your age you should be full of energy dont thell me you dont have it to start over again and you are also talking about playing spins to go faster. You dont find that they cost you enought now you should ask PS to ban you from this game right now before you start rebuilding or you will never learned and always go broke on them.Good luck like someone said dont think short term but long term you are young enought to do it.

It's like buying a lotto ticket You don't have a big enough stack to play proper poker so you have to steal blinds a lot and peole will call your shoves aknowing that they're 38-62% just because they raised to 60 before you shoved... In the end it all comes down to being lucky in the ones with bigger prizepools. It can easily make you tilt when you finally get one with a good prizepool and then you get sucked out on. It's like you need to be lucky twice just to break even

yup but whith what... I dont have $ on my acc only fpps... tonight is silverstar tournament, Ill play that, and I will play tomorow some satelites for some mtts with fpp, and I have to save little for upcoming silverstar tournaments... If i rech final table on some of them It will be awesome, and I would ban those spins forever from my ps client...

well I dont want to take money from others, because its kinda gamble... its poker, I can end up losing your founds, and its very stressfull to play with other people's money... I dont know, if I do bad this weekend in tournaments that I plan to play, than maybe Ill make some deal with you, if you r ok... Ill be alright. And i trust u. I wouldnt care how long u took to pay back no rush just let me know. My other situation is just annoying cuz he claims to have no money but gambling mjne away and making excuses. He said he had 6$ left. I check his stats has lost that and still playing 3+$ games lol and i had very strict guildlines. anyways i consider u a friend as weve been members for awhile and both active daily so its just a friend helpin a friend. No guildlines no strings attached just pay back down the road when u can.
