G'day mates
What should I do? Read this and please give me your advice.
It is Sunday and I just found out that I have lost my sponsorship to the Sunday Storm this week. So much for my friends word being his bond. It was his idea to sponsor me into the $11 Sunday storm and split all the winnings together. Now he tells me he went out last night and blew his entire two week pay on booze and stuff so he is totally broke. He begged me for something like 10 days to do this for him to help him out because he needs cash, I finally give in and he does this crap. I am really disappointed in my friends drinking problem. He is an alcoholic and he has falling of the wagon after 7 or 8 months in Alcoholics Anonymous.
Do you think I should make a $25 deposit and play the Sunday Storm today anyway? I was really looking forward to this tournament today and feel totally disappointed by this entire situation. I have about 2 1/2 hours to go buy a Ukash ticket or something to make a deposit with.
I could still split the winnings (If I win) with my friend to help him out, but should I do that? Would it just be making his drinking problem worse if I try to bail him out of his mess?

Hey ronin , i think you should play it even if it's with your own money atleast you should play it if you feel comfortable. about splitting the winnings i wouldnt go 50/50 but i would give him something to help him get rid of his problem

If you really want to play this tournament go for it. As to your friend IMO at the moment there is nothing you can do to help him this kind of problem has to be resolve by him and until he is not ready to do it nobody can help him. So if you play the game and win money just keep it for your challenge. Good luck.

thats too bad your friend has a drinking problem. you might be able to play the game for free. just deposit $25.00 or more with the code MEGABONUS and see how much cash they give you for free. If you do play, you shouldn't give any of your winnings to your friend, because he didn't keep his end of the bargain. Well good luck if you play.

Hello Ronin
It´s a shame that your friend as drinking problem addictions are real hard a tuff issue to overcome and the number of relapses are huge About the poker you can use the CRASH58 solution and go for it but first you should ask youself this question :
"DO YOU FEEL LUCKY PUNK" and if the answer is YES go for it

You should play the game if you think you can make some money out of it. And depositing that much is not a big deal. About splitting the money, make sure that he wont use the money for some more drinking. If thats the case dont give him a single cent. Good luck on the tournament if you play.

Well I just wanted to let you all know that I really appreciate your advice. I have decided not to play the tournament today. I just do not think it would be a good move from a bankroll perspective. I am trying to play within proper bankroll management rules. So no Sunday Storm today. I think perhaps I will try to satellite into next weeks. wishing you all the best be cool

...Well it's obviously long past time to respond,...but I thought crash had a good idea...!!!
...There's a pretty good chance you'd have gotten $10... ONLY $1 away from an entry...!
...BUT,...my first thought was,...you are partially on tIlT from your buddy lettin' you down,...it may have carried right into the game... I find not to play big money games feeling bummed is best...

If you cant afford such a buy in then of course you did well deciding not to play it. Either way you are having good games when you play ring games, so no reason risking if you dont feel like it. Good luck qualifying for the next one.
