Yeah if a post is deleted from the forum, the points for that post is gone too, of course. But posts are usually only deleted if they are considered spam like "I wanna post BOOYA just to get points"-like, or something else. Or because it's irrelevant to the threads topic, contains link to competing sites, bad language etc.
We don't go around deleting posts just for the fun of it. But at least (thank you all ) nobody complained yet about having a post deleted and points removed.
