This system was destined to fail. The way they forced their players to play the game was just not real poker. We will see if other, more standard poker sites will follow to close down.

Posted by thewizard213: Just wondering why $3 is still being offered, duplicate poker ceases operations as of yesterday (5th october).
Nobody told us until this thread... so it's kinda hard to remove it if we don't know that they stop working I guess Duplicate Poker been busy shutting down, rather than updating their partners with what's going on...

I was also not a fan of duplicate, but its a way different poker so maybe when really get into it you can make a lot profit there cos 90% of the people dont understand the game there
i to wasn't a fan of the concept but it's true, I heard of some people they really made quite a profit from because many new players didn't even know what they were doing. it's always a shame when a systyem shuts down but hey, room for new maybe better poker sites whit nice freerolls and promo's

Yes they stopped, I checked it out. And for the fun only i requested a payout of $4.03. . I think they removed some money from my account because i was around $25 but still, they don`t support moneybookers and i wanted to see what will happen.

I played there for about 30 minutes... Never liked it. Pretty strange poker rules, it was quite obvious that they are gonna close pretty soon but didn't think that this would happen so fast. Maybe after this experience they will try to open new poker room with standard rules and some good promotions...

$4.70, lol Took a bad idea and ran with it, cant say i enjoyed it, they took the skill out of poker and games were too short, wounder what they will come back with, 1 card poker.
