Unbelievable story unfolded yesterday as Leicester city were crowned the 2015/2016 EPL champions!
This feels so unreal considering the fact that they were 5000/1 to win it at the start of the season. They were widely tipped to be in a relegation battle this season. Never in a million years would i have bet a penny on this happening.
Congrats to the players especially mahrez, vardy and kante who have been incredible this season. Congrats to claudio ranieri who has finally won a top division trophy after 20 years as a manager. Congrats to all leicester city fans
I can't wait for saturday to come and watch them lift the trophy at home vs everton. This is going to be mental.
tip for saturday 07/05/2016 Leicester-Everton.......Home.....Odds 2.00 (Bookie: Bet365) Don't be in a hurry to bet as the home odds are rising as punters are backing a hungover leicester to lose this game. Personally i believe they will cap off their fairy tale season with a win at home. Good Luck

Tbh no normal place offers this much to any kind of probability since they might come alive despite of the very slim overall chance. The trader who set this price at Ladbrokes probably no longer has his job...

.... < ...After never winning it for all those years,...you'd think it was a total chance fluke,..but maybe they really DID have a good team this time... If they can be a little more consistent either winning or in contention for the next few years,...then maybe it's the latter...!
... < ...I was listening to THIS guy last night,.....the poor bastard...! Check the podcast about 1/2 way down the page...:

So, OK, a small team from the East Midlands of England has won the league. Never heard that before..... Oh yes! Hang on a minute.... Nottingham Forset (who I hear you ask) won it in 1978 after being promoted to the top league and went on to European glory also the following two years. Let's wait and see whether Leicester City can go on to European glory. Anyone having a fiver on them winning the champions league? (Just like Nottingham forest did?)

Oh my, what an unlucky guy. I fell bad for him. It is like the mob safecrackers that use the same code every day for years without luck and then one day login to see someone cracked it with that same code. But on a much much bigger scale, $145K Just noticed that BRM lack a disgust/vomit emoticon. It would have been appropriate in this situation.
Also it is one of those rare cases where you can't tell the guy better luck next time coz there most probably wont be one.
PS: Time have changed considerably since 1978 damosk, it is all about money now. The team that spend the most usually walk away with the title. But who knows maybe history can repeat itself. Will definitely put a small stake on them if the odds are good.

in modern football this is a monumental achievement... really, mindblowing and cockblowing... it's not like winning some cup where with luck on your side on that particular day you can pull it off... we are talking about 38 games season here, plenty of teams with far far bigger budgets, world class coaches, staff, infrastructure, heck even toilets... and out of the blue comes leicester and wins the league with 2 games left... fcukin awesome

Looks like Leicester managed to lose yet again... Boy oh boy, they are really bad this season, if we don't count the Champions League? Question now is, when will they decide to sack the coach who brought them their first (and probably only) title ever?
Well I'm really shocked because I knew Leicester would not have the terrific season they have but no way I would imagine them fighting against relegation, everyone wants to beat the champions and if you are not mentally strong then it's really difficult. I believe they should not sack the manager and stick to him until the end of the season and also believe that if they stay up they will have a much more better season.

well there's nothing shocking about the position of leicester city this season, this is more or less the true level of this team, the only thing that was shocking was the epic last season where they majorly overachieved, last year they were favs for drop, now they are were they belong... fighting against the drop... would be funny though if they get relegated... champions straight to the championship lmfao...

this is almost normal for teams who are in top of best leagues, when they play champions league and then cant do much in own league!lot of examples who are on first 4 of domestic league in last season and then in next fight for "life"!

I read in some website that the players of Leicester city were offered new big contracts and now are living happy lifes, motivation is not the same, now thet think of themselves as football stars and not players who are fighting for staying in the top league

I guess this has similarities to Nothingham Forrest from way before, when they won the "champions league", or how the competition was called back then, and now they are in a lower division... Going a bit of topic here, but how great would it be for Nothingham Forest to come back in Premiership, and get a wealthy owner I'd personally much rather watch them compete for the title, thay say Tottenham ^_^
