Besides that live play is different from online and you need to practice your pokerface, games in pubs are not that serious in comparison with the ones played in casinos Too much alcohol there and lots of think can happen, in every sense But they must be real fun.

I don't drink any alcohol when playing in the pub , so besides that about 22 out of the 30 players totally suck playing poker , not drinking is another one of my advantages. All i drink when i play is Coffee, redbull or fanta/pepsi. Same goes for when i play in the casino , i dont drink while im playing.
For live events , November 10 - 13th or 14th there is an event called BAPT Namur in belgium, 110 Eu buy in , 3 starting days , 2 more playing days after the starting days. I'm probably going to play there if my buddy is able to join me.
As of poker wise , this weekend i haven't had any time to play , tonight i have to work till around 9 and i will try to get some playtime after that , playing some Mtt's probably

Then you do have an advantage, when you play in pubs. You are in Netherlands too, so there are more ways, for someone to be messed up during a game The live event you are talking about, has a low buy in, and it will be nice if you can make it there.

not to drink alcohol in a pub and then play with drunken opponents is certainly very clever tactic on your part)))) alkagol really affect decision-making (for me) I'm starting to play a more risky and there is of course the risk is justified but often it ends very badly ... I mean a complete zero

Close to trippled my stack in the 215$ hot , KJ suit outlasted 10s and kings <3
------------ Hand dead Like crazy , can't seem to get good hands pre or connect on the flop.
------------ Connected a9 on the flop vs AK , doubled
------------ Out in the 55$ prog ko because some mentally unstable idiot called my shove with qk offsuit and hits his king on the river vs my 4s well thats poker iguess

Down to 12BB , blinds going up so fast in the turbo , and just not getting hands to shove / double / try anything. have to be patient and hope it pays off i suppose
------------ Just got placed with elky on a table time to try
------------ so sick a8 vs elky's AA out right before the bubble
