As part of the WPT Five Diamond Poker Classic, a $100,000 buy-in Super High Roller tournament was played over the weekend at the Bellagio Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. A massive $3,724,000 prize pool was generated thanks to 38 entries, though, only the 6 finalists received a share of it.

well this marchese dude not only sounds like he's from mafia, but appears that he really is... over 15 millions in cashes is quite an impressive figure, even topping one of the best poker players out there under the tables- pochui himself. well done scwippert dude for winning it.
This is really really sick. Crazy big prizes, Great tournament, this is all very surrealistic, but yet, if one wants to succeed he will get there if he REALLY wants it. Because if you don't really really want it, then you do everything for it and you will get there. Most people really want that, but only if you really really want it you will succeed, the world is your oyster.

Tournaments for professionals or big spenders trying their luck with the game. The finalists made some profit. The rest lost a considerable amount of money. I wonder how many of them really cared about that loss

Congratulations to Jan-Eric Scwippert and Tom Marchese on finishing first and second respectively in the $100,000 buy-in Super High Roller tournament. Well done to everyone participated in this event, especially to the final tablists.

Your line of reasoning is skewed and groundless. By the way, you ever mentioned you are from South Auckland?
this guy Erik Seidel you always see his name in the money in those super high roller games which a lot of players would play with high pressure because it's a lot of money even if you super rich, super player
Congratulations to the two lucky new millionaires Well new, maybe they already were considering the buy-in amount of this tournament.
I know Tom Marchese, Talal Shakerchi and Erik Seidel of course. All three of them are great players. Seidel is the best of the 3 in my opinion, such a solid player who uses his tight image very well.

I absolutely do not post comments solely for the purpose of earning points. All of my posts are well constructed and appropriately revised if necessary. You seem to be pissed off just because someone took all of your chips the other day? Get over it.

participation in such tournaments is certainly very interesting ... but you need to have a lot of free money to allow them to lose ... my congratulations to the two new millionaires but I think that before the tournament they had a few million in the bank
