According to the authorities in South Florida, a verbal argument at a poker room resulted to the fatal shooting of a former Army Ranger just outside a Miami casino last Christmas. well these kind of stories really should be an example to all of aspiring poker players that you should just concentrate on your poker and do not talk at poker tables at all, have a banner hanging on your manly chest stating that your tongue has been bitten away by grizzly and show no interest in anything else besides poker.
If you want to avoid these situations, go to countries where people are modest. Go to countries where people don't brag all the time. Go to countries where people don't exaggerate all the time. Go to countries where materialism is the true form of selfishness. Not that there are countries without that, but there are sure some to find where the people are "normal". Violence is always bad, but please shut your bigot mouth! PEACE!

Always drive me crazy when i read news like this. Another one gone for nothing. And the weird thing is what happened during surgery. The bullets were in leg and wrist... ??? How do you end up dead after an operation like this...
we must always be aware of people with whom you play and watch out for your own words that you say ... and if people dangerous is that it is necessary or not to play with them or play quietly .. but the story itself of course terribly sad ... play online

Not hard for a fight in a casino. The gambling, along with the drinks and losing most of the time, does the trick. Too many fools are making an incident for no reason, in card tables mostly. You wont see fights in slots in general, besides when some think they own the slot machine, can leave and return after some time and no one has played there

As my dear and departed father would say, "just another tale involving every day folk doing everyday things!". Well, at least in some states of the US that is. This brings to mind the thread about trolls ....... this is the kind of behaviour that should be outlawed and possibly a sign of the cross over from internet behaviour to real life behaviour. This wasn't just an unfortunate event, but how many shots were fired? Crazy life!

but back in the earlier days of poker up to doyle brunsons era they would take guns to poker games. i dont think it has anything to do with trolling. its to do with money and how addictive it is - the reason why we are all here. since it was outside a casino it was reported, i wonder how often poker/gambling killings actually happen - lots. money, drugs(inc alcohol), and guns dont mix
I guess whenever a poker room table talk goes into these extremities then we could safely say they completely lost their poker face in the end. Not sure why would worth taking/loosing a life over an agrument.

I am very much curious to know what type of gun(s) was (were) used in this incident and if the bullets were passed straight through the victim's body (creating an exit wound) or stuck inside his body when he was shot in the parking lot.
well... That's what you get for talking sh!t at the poker table my friend... Army ranger or not, sooner or later all the trolls and the william kassoufs will eventually mess with the wrong guy who will take his attacks personally and try to destroy him.
Anyways, it's human nature, when big egos collide something bad can happen if nobody steps in to defuse the situation.

And here we go again a hundred times a day blacks out of control - raging, rampaging and killing. And the police prevented from doing their jobs because touching a black person means getting fired. Kenen and Mikey need to go away for A LONG TIME. Maybe they can play cards in the slam and gamble with cigarettes...
