Hey boys and girls it's your boy TheIrish77 and I'm playing the TCOOP 4 27$ 6max Hyper-Turbo progressive KO currently and stumbled early and lost half my stack but took advantage of another player who almost busted and got there bounty so i've made about a 1/4 of my money back so far.
Wish me luck and good luck to all Mobsters playing this one.
------------ Just doubled with pocket 4's vs A Q all in and now am average stack again with 16k.

Not a complete disaster, since you got some of the buy in money back. And you are running good lately, having proved yourself in many games. You will bounce up back pretty soon Better luck on your next games.

Posted by TheIrish77: should have known better not pushing the AQ pre but in bounty Runs I like being even more aggressive than I typically am.
Always another run to look forward too.
In a 6max hyper turbo, pushing AQ pre is rarely wrong, and in your case, was definitely not wrong. Equity was on your side, you just lost a flip. Whether you bust out early or crush in any given tournament comes down to so many moments like this having to go your way.
Congrats on collecting a couple heads too.
Funny story: I wanted to play this - but it runs at 6AM my time and because of the timezone differences, I messed up with the online schedule and woke up 6AM the day before! Ended joining a Hot $55 instead, since I was up - thought it was going to be the luckiest dumb mistake of my life, about 1300 runners, 180 paid and I was sitting at around 10th place for most of the game, still around 12-13th with 200 left, 20 more before payouts, then I got coolered twice in a row and busted 10 before the money haha
Then this morning, I was way to hung-over to wake up at 6AM to play TCOOP-04
Most of the TCOOP games for me are around 2-4AM, so there's only a couple that are 6,7 or 8AM - they're about the only ones I'm realistically going to wake for.

I correct you U shouldn't flip out, rather flip more. BTW yes, bounty tournies is the exact place where you could be ultra aggro with any decent hand.
They're also great tourneys to exploit idiots who adjust there agression waaaay too much. The amount of times I've doubled up off morons pushing all in to collect a bounty worth 1/4 of their buyin and I snap-them off with KK/AA etc and they're holding like 3-8os or some dumb s**t.
People do some really fucking dumb stuff in bounty games, so not only should you up your aggression, you shouldn't up it anywhere near as much as most people think. In fact, unless you know what you're doing, you're better off TIGHTENING your play and exploiting the hell out of all the morons.

You were indeed very luck with that hand and i dont think many people would have made that call. Sometimes, you just get a feeling that you are going to win and all convention goes right out the window

Wow, you got lucky with your Ten Five suited. It would have been great if you had won that coin flip with your Ace Queen against your opponent's pocket Sevens. Wishing you all the best of everything!

Sorry - I was not disagreeing with you.
I was saying not only can you get aggro with good hands, you can also exploit people who get too loose.
I wasn't saying you said 8-3 was a good hand, I was saying as well as being aggressive with your good hands, you can also take advantage if morons he open up far too much (and provided an example in that people will do things like call off/shove their entire stack with a hand like 8-3 just because someone is all-in with 1BB or something, even though the bounty the collect immediately might only equate to 1/4 of their buyin - crazy / exploitable play).
