i don't know... he said he was with party from the beginning of party... so probably he is a solid choice in terms of knowing the company inside out, and also he understands the poker world very well... maybe things will turn out well to him.

Why not, that´s a good job in my opinion and i thin the WPT is a great live tourney series and will be also good with a other chairman. And he can be a serious face from Party Poker, because he was a poker pro since a long time with a lot of experience in the business.

It will be strange, watching a World Poker Tour event and not hearing Mike Sexton commentating. He is the voice of poker and i'd like to thank him and wish him all the best for the future

Some people are just workaholics. But some jobs, arent jobs at all even if their pay rate is high. It is like a day in the park.. But at some point you need to say enough, indeed and enjoy things that you couldnt before.

yeah with this job it wouldnt be 'hard on the body' kind of work. and some people have to keep working because once they stop, sometimes life stops not so soon after - its just how they are wired

Nice work if you can get it! Congratulations to Mr Sexton. Looking forward to seeing what difference he makes at partypoker and who takes over from him at wpt. Hopefully it will be some scantily clad gorgeous young woman who knows nothing about poker but makes for great viewing to up the audience figures.

You are right robbo about this. There are many people out there who cant just stop working. Even when it comes to jobs that require, more stress or physical work. They are not the coffee shop persons, sitting all day sipping from a straw, as we say here
