if only someone knows how much he actually gets, because of the buyin and he not winning a live event before it would be interesting to see who backed him and then maybe the reason if hes a bit of a unknown .... anyway this is sick win and can live a very comfortable life while joining in on prop bets

A nice win there, but you have almost 8 millions in winnings, you go and buy in for 300k to a tournament? The article of course talks about live cashes that he has, so i guess he has got more from online play, permitting him to buy in there.

It is not that bad BRManagement....aka 8.000.000 / 300.000 = 26,66 .
his BR isnt 8m$ thats only winings without buy ins, and who knows how many tournament he played and didnt cash... also he could win as much online, and on cash game... so his BR realy could be anywhere between 0 and 20m$

oh in the article it said his first live win. it is quite misleading though when they say how much someone has won without subtracting buyins, % they had etc

Yes I also agree that 300.000 is very big buyin and so you can play such buyin tournaments you have to have at least 20-30 million bankroll. Sometimes olayers risk because they feel they are in good momentum and want to try their luck to win very big

Took a quick look at his previous games an i saw that 2014 was playing the 1 million buy in. Now i couldnt find info if he bought directly or satellited to it. How much money could have at that point to by in directly.

Many congratulations to Christoph Vogelsang on winning this massive event and the first prize of $6,000,000. I can only imagine the feeling he must have had when he realised he had won
