An 83-year-old lady from Oklahoma City said that even though a man followed her on her way home from a casino and robbed her, she is still fortunate that she's still alive.
She said the unpleasant incident could have been a lot worse. These sort of stories are becoming more and more frequent and it sickens me to read them. I am glad that this lady was not too badly hurt and i hope this guy, if found guilty, goes to jail for a long time

Yes I agree with doubletop777 since I am a member of this site i gear so many stories like this, old women most often and all of them are coming home from casino and winning some money, and then women are robbed i hust like to see that no one is killed in crime

And again another incident with someone targeting elderly people. Easy pray right? I doubt there is a day in us that there isnt a crime like this in some casino. Others we learn about it, and others remain in dark forever.

every few days we read some news about robbery after somebody go from casino!but for me its important this,that 83. years old grandma is in casino till 2:30 am !its bit too much!in that age she should sleep at home in that hours!

You're right! ... At such a time the old woman should sleep and not walk around the casino ..... of course this is her own business and she can do whatever she wants .... but still if she was sitting at home then this with her Would not have happened

I am deeply shocked to learn about this violent incident. There is absolutely no justification for such a heinous and reprehensible act. Leona Archer, the perpetrator, must be severly punished for his crime he has committed.

i must admit that this united state of america country is kinda scary place to live for a senior who has managed to own the casino at one or another point of his life... there are many burglars out there, so seniors must be aware and take karate lessons at the very least
