Many congratulations to Heidi May on winning this event and the first prize of $135,098. She also picks up her first gold bracelet and to a lot of poker players this is more important than the money.

nice to see so many melons battling it out for the cash and a bracelet... reading the final table not a lot of names i read anywhere, not even on pornhub, so i guess it was another of those tourneys where newcomers showed the pros how it's done.

Gratz to Heidi May for her nice winning! That ladys got a discount for the buyin sounds funny- but why not.And afield of 718 players are nice for a ladys event. And prize pool over $600k are great for this WSOP event.

great event for ladies and great prizes!cant believe that on this tournament we had 718 ladies, such a big number!cant believe that so many womens are in vegas and playing this event at WSOP and have good bank account for buy in!congratulation to all ladies!
Only 718 women are certainly very few players .... and the entrance fee is only $ 1000 ..... and the first prize is very attractive ..... of course if there were men then players would be more .... in any case Excellent result for 24 years

718 women fighting it out for the winners title in australia can only mean that there were 1426 melons to pick from for the viewers of this interesting event, kinda get a feeling that women only poker tourneys with men only supporters do have an exciting future in front of us.
If you do the counting, there were 718 entrants and the first prize was 600k. That means that the 718 players were not 100% females as they have discount to 1k and that if a man wants to play this event he is welcome but will have to pay 10k. I don't understand why a man would play it, oh wait maybe to watch some nice melons...
