Hey boys and girls it's your boy TheIrish77 and he's been dealing with a run of horrible outcomes on the tables lately. no matter what hand i get it in with preflop i lose. Aces havent won with those in 3 or 4 times straight now. Kings dont even get me started with those Bastardo's lol.
No but seriously everytime i look like i'm about to scoop a pot some magic river or turn kills my soul.
Trying to get over this bad run with a Final Table Bubble sweat. playing a $2.50 180 Player Turbo on Stars and down to last 11 players sitting 9th currently.
Hope all my forumites are well and having a great day.
------------ ouch out in 11th with me pushing 6's into big stack A8 and they kill me on flop and dream done. i had less than 10 bigs so i thought good move but didn't work. at least i profited.

Take a break for a while And after that start from lower buy ins to blow some steam. But i bet you are experienced player and you know how to deal things when it goes downhill Better luck in your next games.

Shitty end though. not what i had hoped for.
Hi TheIrish77, I´m sorry to hear about your bad luck, be patient and take a break... And, in poker like in the really life, don´t choose the big guy for a fight! On ly if your life be in risk (when you have no more than 2 or 3 blinds) push to the bigest have sense (you really have no other way out)

Yes there is moments like this to many poker players maybe even i say to all players and it is important keep good bankroll management in this time amd maybe do some breaks. But good news is that luck and good results come back after time

I had a bad run of cards a few weeks ago. I practically lost every single coinflip (ex. AK vs TT, KQ vs 99, JJ vs AQ, etc.) and I got busted out by an inferior hand repeatedly (ex. QQ vs JJ, AQ vs A9, a set on the flop beaten by a runner runner straight, etc.). I guess it was just not my day.

Lately happened to me like you dear Irish (at least in what you have to do with losing every one of the Coinflip, not respect your tournaments you've done well haha). Every time I put AA vs KK or some pocket pair lower, the set they grabbed them. What hurts me the most is that it always comes out on the river! (Riverstars) Still, do not lose your calm. Maybe play a little less, or take a break.

These runs do come about every now and then and it is truly a frustrating time. You need to look at your previous results and you will see that you are a good player and this is only a blip. Good luck and i am sure you will get back to winning ways very soon

everyone of us have this kind of periods at poker, especially when they come in couple of days its better to take a break and leave money on account, because probably you will spend all of it!just play something else and you will be back on winning strike!

Thanks for all the good advice mates! Took the last couple of days off and feel recharged and ready to tackle the world. It's sunny and beautiful here in Toronto and just had a beer and a Joint on the balcony and soaking all them good vitamins in from the sun!
It really does help steppin away form the tables even though i tend to not play all that long maybe 4-5 hours tops.
Thanks again guys for the smart and obviously experienced advice you all gave.
