probably, nevertheless, the game of Poker was not the main thing for him in life ... and the main thing was the drug trade .... and in the end he was caught .... And how many deals nobody knows about .... Perhaps there a lot of money was involved .... much more than he ever won in poker

Yes or course i think it is more money to make career to drug dealer than poker player, and it is situation to this man can say that i am right. But it is problem that drug dealer is not legal operation, if legal then i think not so big profit

The Marijuana situation in Canada https://lfpress.com/news/local-news/pot-101-everything-...
ation in Canada

Drug trafficking is more attractive than professional poker games because it always brings money. In poker you can lose money, even if you are a very good player, but with marijuana almost always you earn money. Over 100 kilos of pot and hash oils is good money for him and for his partners ( that means he was a successful dealer ). The risk is always, but honestly to be, America is full of prisoners. Marijuana needs to be legalized.

He is not a drug kingpin - despite the article trying to describe him as one - and both legal and medical marijuana is a thing singe ages now in the US so I don't know why they treat him like a jersey shore Walter White... This is beyond ridiculous but the feds doing ridiculous things left and right so theres that.

This is not about a little marijuana, it's about 100 kilos and this means a lot. As long as the law does not change, they will continue to arrest traffickers. Than to arrest marijuana traffickers, is better to arrest those who sell pills, heroin or cocaine. Anyway, he is not the only professional poker player who will go into jail. Smile

It wsnt a small amount the one that they seized. You cant say that.
There wants the big drug lords, but still not the neighborhood dealer Smile
Now with the legalization in canada, many will start seeing less profit.
For many it isnt a problem crossing over legally.
A line to pass, to smoke it with no stress Smile

It's still just marijuana. This guy did not hurt anybody for running this operation unlike those real cartels down south from the borders who are profiting from the 'real' drugs...

maybe bowie its not heavy drug, but its still drug and he had 100 kilos, which is not normal!when he had in that moment so many kilos, who know how much did he sell in last years and what amount he did earn from ilegal operations!

The law is the law and must be respected. Until this product is legalized he can not be sold by all persons with the exception of pharmacies. Americans will change this law, because it is absurd, but until then the sale remains illegal. I think these people will go to prison for an obsolete law. A new law to smoke marijuana just at home with friends or single but do not drive after.
