im a novice when it comes to being a web master, but im learning quickly, one of the things that i keep hearing is the importance of (relative to subject) links to boost search engine rankings, without of course stealing bussiness from one an other, we could simply swap links "the more the better", and hide the links way down the on the footer in small text (just so search engines can find them) it"ll help our ranking, just a thought anyway, let me know what you think, we would probably need permish from BRM.

We can't really allow links to be posted in our forum to sites that contain other poker/casino banners/bonuses, except for links pointing back to bankrollmob of course.
If you have just a private website/blog with BRM being the only poker/casino related link/banner, then feel free to post your link.

yeah i agree there, but i did say we could hide the links way down on the footer of the page in small text so they wernt that visible, i was really just thinking out loud, there is a lot to S.E.O and this is a important part of it, some say the most important, ive had a couple of sites email me to swap links, do you get many requests to swap ?

I had a few people email me for link exchange but it didn't work out too good. I'm going to try a blogroll. I see the importance of it, will a link page work the same?

I think I know what your idea is. Your site will get a higher rateing in a search engine if it has link's from outher site's to and from it.
You can hide links on your site by creating a page that is hidden on your site and puting them on that page no one can see them but search engine's can or you can make the colour of the link the same as the colour as the background hence it is invisable to the human eye but not to the search engine.
p.s. It's not to hard to get in contact it took me about 15 minnits to find your site with clues that you have left in this forum and I see you have a email addreass there and the same with Gene Yuss's blog site.
sure, it is very good t swap links with others, but never at your main page...
every time make a links-page... so you have the advantage of SEO and probably you dont loose players through these competitor-links in front.
perhaps your partner offers other products than you means you only "loose" the users if they took every offer you promote. and other case too you will get user from them...

they say (from what ive read online) that its best if the links are of the same content as your site, if you arent in google and you link to a site that is in google that will mean that your in google as well now because google searchs links as well, and the more links that have poker content the better for your and their rankings for lots of extra combinations of key words, proper Grammer is also important (American english not english english if that makes sense) Australia uses english english, example we spell colour and american english spells it as color, google being American oriantated cant understand the australian word, as dunotra said you could even make the links the same color as the page so they werent visible, all it would do if we did this was boost your ranking in google, if your ranked 11 for a set of key words you might get reranked to 9 or10, im curently ranked around 65/70 for keyword search (no credit cards needed poker) allthough i have instaled a meta tag since and i may have fucked that up a little as im still learning about meta tag key words, ranking 65/70 isnt good as you may as well be ranked 50000 as anyone who clicks on my site would have come across lots of BRM links, anyone who comes across my site and you want to swap, email me, noobyfish or geneyuss if you want to swap just reply to this thread as i know where your sites are.

------------ heres an article i copyed about link importance 3. Linking
Internal Linking
Internal linking helps to maximize the Google PageRank of all pages on your site. This is why you should cross-link all the important pages on your site. Notice that the menu bar above appears on all the major pages of this site. This ensures that each major section is linked to all the others.
Whenever possible, use your keyword as anchor text to link to other pages. For instance, if your site offers free web tools, the anchor text "Free Web Tools" is more effective than, say, "Kool Web Toolz". "Kool" and "Toolz" are not actual words in the English dictionary, and few people will search for "kool web toolz" on Google.
Cross Link all your Sites
While you may not always get other sites to link to you, you can increase your incoming links by cross linking your own sites. Scroll to the bottom of this page and you'll notice the list of links below the copyright notice. These are some of the sites that I own. These links are there not only to allow visitors to click on them but also to help to increase their search rankings.
4. Link Popularity
Many search engines, such as Google, MSN, AltaVista, and Inktomi, factor link popularity heavily into their ranking algorithms. Google, in particular, considers link popularity as the most important factor for search ranking. Consequently, your site may not rank high even if it's perfectly coded for search engine's algorithm. Nowadays it's an absolute essential to have other sites link to you, not just to rank high in search results, but also to bring visitors to your site through the links themselves.
Link popularity is not so much about quantity as it is about quality. Having your site listed on 1,000 "free-for-all" link pages probably won't do you as much good as a handful of inbound links from quality relevant sites. Search engines are sophisticated enough to differentiate between relevant, on-topic links from quality sites and those from free-for-all pages and link farms.
Ultimately, search engine optimization involves a lot more than altering the HTML code to exploit the SE's ranking algorithm. Optimization is a long, arduous process of publishing a high-quality site with fresh, original content and building good rapport with your visitor and fellow site owners.
Speaking of link popularity, we invite you to exchange links with us. Just go to our Reciprocal Linking page and follow the instructions there.

edit: euhm .. I guess there's not really a PM feature here, or I'm just not seeing it .. nevermind then ...
I guess if you want to share some kind of personal information you could write your nick from another forum that got PM's and get in contact there....just a thought
