I'm from Poland, and I envy that in Czech Republic, many illegall stuff in Poland are legal there... Marijuana, abortions, now poker. What wrong with our government? Both countries were independent from USSR in 1990, but look how great improve our neighbour... It's sad

Another expansion for party poker. They are on the news like every other day. They are chasing from up close poker stars. It wont be a surprise, if in a couple of years we see another site like party poker getting the lead in the online poker world. Competition with them getting bigger and bigger

Truth is that party poker trying so hard for piece of market. 40 percent of rake and so on. They have miles in front themselves but they are on highway.
cool for all Czech players ... Czech Republic Of course it stands out in European countries ... poker is allowed marijuana and other pleasures of life ... poker and casino are prohibited in Russia ... and hope that the ban will not be lifted ... more likely something is forbidden than allowed ... Mysik, we still have to wait to see if Party Poker will return in our countries. Now they are trying to make as many customers as possible and with this favorable law, they won the right to activate in the Czech Republic and won something extra in the fight competition with pokerstars.

Yes i think it os good news for all players form checz republic and also for many people who play party poker online too, because this website become stonger and stronger and more promotion now and it is good situation to players
I didn’t quite understand, only PartyPoker can now exist in the Czech Republic ... or other poker rooms can also ... not entirely clear How are other poker rooms from PartyPoker ... because this is the same game ... if for other poker rooms imposed restriction then it is unfair

Probably it has to do with licensing. They got the rights to legally start a business there, by accepting all of the country's requirements. Like it is here now and in most of the countries. They did ban all of them to force them, to pay for a license and get a greek VAT number, in order to be taxed.

when you have big market and big countries and lot of players in that country, its not so hard to invest in licence and that you can work normaly with your poker site!when you have 20,30,40 million people in one country, its not big amount to pay licence and tax for poker site!
They never really went away - none of them really did - they just bought a license to operate legally on their market. It's okay, may or may not worth it in the long run but definitely the right step from the company...
