I know, the subject is a little brief but I just want to know what SNG's BRM Mobsters are playing and what level they played when they got their bankroll.
Because right now, I find it pretty easy to crush the beginner (10-25c) SNG's and want to know if the winnings are worth my time? In particular since it's a bit difficult to multi-table SNGs on Action Poker since you can't resize the table (afaik)
Should mention that I am a terrible cash game player, so SNGs and a few MTTs are all that I play.

If you are no cash game player Action Poker is most likely not an ideal room for you. SnG traffic is quite low there. And with the no deposit money you are only rolled for SnGs up to $1. So do not start to play higher untill you made a few more bucks. Unfortunatly you can't resize the tables.

9hey, um i have been able to crush the lower stakes games too, very little action at higher level sngs, MTT is good , the 30 cent - 1 dollar rebuy are quite easy too, as for playing cash games, i never used to, but you can find short stack cash game strategys online- if you stick to them you will make money- but dont try them below 25/10 cent blinds, as lower everyone calls with hands they Like (eg 6 9 )

i also play only sit and go's. If i got 50 dollars i play 1 or 3 dollar, 6 persons, sometimes the 10 ones. I play on party poker. Easy there. I know they say you have to have X times the buy in, but 50 dollars playing 3 dollar sit and go's is fine. You can lose 17 in a row, and that is not gonna happen. I play the turbo ones, i don't have patience enough for the 10 minute blinds one. Just play very tight in the beginning, only aa, kk, ka, qa callen. And see the flop. If there is nothing with your ak or aq fold. When you're beginning to play in push/fold fase then it is getting interesting, here you win or lose your game.
When your left with 3 don't bet anymore, or you fold or you go al inn, but all in with nice hands, like 10-10, and other pairs and a's with kickers starting from 10. When you are in the money, you can play all kinds of hands, it is just luck now because most of the time you and the other players only have 5/6 BB.
few days ago at party i deposited 50, i played some 3 dollar one, like 15, untill i had 100 dollars, played some 6 dollar sit and go's, then i had 160 dollars, then played some 11 ones untill i had 280, then i played some 22 ones, and i got 450. Then i wanted to do something crazy, i played a 77 dollar 6 persoon sit and go, won it and got 252 out of that one. Total 600 dollars on 3 days. cashed out 550 , and now starting over again .

Think I'm going to avoid anything less than $1, purely because it's not worth the time. I'll try and win a couple $1 SNG's and then see if it's worth moving up.
Also to admin, feel free to move this thread to Poker section, since it's not specific to Action Poker.

Lol, you have to expect to cash out sooner or later, or you will have lost 50$ and a s**t load of time . But I don't see the point in cashing out that much, maybe just withdrawing 150$ or 200$ and keep playing pretty high.

i don't know, it is for protecting myself agianst losing it all . I know if i had a bad beat on a 22dollar one i would try a 50 one, and if i lost that i would have played maybe a 100 head up. So cashing this out is good for me. I'm still just a student, so for me that is good money for going out and buy me something when i see interesting things. When i got a job in a couple of years and get a monthly salary it would probably be different and 500 dollars wont seem so much anymore...

Posted by Eeben: I would move to pokerstars if i was ure . Lots of action and LOOOOTS of donks . With some good tight poker play you can be winning in no time
I played on more then 10 differnt sites and there is really no other site that is coming close to pokerstars when we are talking about donks playing .
Too bad somehow the donks there manage to draw to all kinds of stuff, straights, flushes, runner quads, you name it. Jokerstars or Riverstars, whatever, they reward bad plays. I promised I would never play small stakes cash games again there, only tournaments.
