Hello i am new to poker its fun for me like i have alot of fun playing on pokerstars and partypoker especially Sit&Go games where i am against 2 other players. Even in that i just keep losing i probably lost 100$ since i started and i don't know what to do. Lets not start about touraments even if i start good which happens sometimes i just lose in All-In thing don't even know why. My best earning in tourament was top #20 out of 470 players and i won like 23bucks and that was months ago when i was playing but took a break and now came back to lose again.
I know most of you will say play freeroll and things. But how people there play like monkeys i swear playing freerolls on partypoker is just people going all in like crazy on most retarded cards its so annoying. 888Poker freerolls are basically most hardest thing ever because you need to get in top 100 or something for 80cents and there is like 5000players lol. Pokerstars doesn't even have freerolls rofl.
I don't know what to do honestly i like playing a game its fun for me but not that fun when you just keep losing.
What do i do , what are good sites for freerolls where you don't have to play against 3,000players to win some money :/ Thank you for your time. PS:English isn't my native language so sorry for poor grammar.

Poker just like that, if you ITM ( in the money ) 17% already good, break event or make small profit if you consistence play at same buy in. I suggest : Read poker book and start play at small MTT first ( around 100 participants ) - play at Titan, reentry MTT - not rebuy MTT, they play better there.

Yeah i started playing on site called Natural8 and won tourament it was like 148 players and i finished first i wish prizes were better but thats what it is.
People in freerolls always play like that, and often get lucky. I know that poker rooms from the iPoker network(like Titan, previously mentioned by Serpang) have freerolls and pretty low traffic. But in general I would suggest you not focus on freerolls if you take poker seriously, you don't learn anything there and prizes are pretty low the most of time.

The first time you have to improve your poker game. Find stuff on youtube, on google or other and after that you must to play some freerolls Sit And Go,s or freerools games. When you improve your game, then try to play the money. Good Luck.
it seems to me at the moment there are practically no sites where you can play free tournaments with a small number of players .... maybe only gray snow poker now there are not very many players .... but of course there are very small prizes .... 11 dollars prize fund ..... in the end, for example, for 60th place - prizes 3 cents

I know it can be frustrating to keep losing. I was a losing player for like a year or so before I finally got my s**t together. Anyway, I think you answered your on question on the very first row: you have a lot of fun playing!
If I were you I would pick a game format and stick with that for a few months and read a few articles, watch a couple of videos and so on. You'll see the improvements after a while.

You need to try different things, and see what works the best for you. Watch a couple of videos, read some advises or books, reevaluate your games etc. But if you see after quite some time it doesnt work for you, just move on. If every one could make money out of it ,,,

I actually enjoyed reading your suggestion because we were losing players once right(I still am)? I think anyone can make money if the invest the time and effort into it. I'am currently only playing Sit&Go's on partypoker and having fun + practicing i guess trying no to tilt as soon i lose 20-30% of my chips stack so yeah. Thank for the tips appreciate it.

The practice is very good and you have to choose what kind of games you like because this is the best. You can not play all the games and make a profit if you do not learn a good strategy. You can not learn poker well in a short time and you should not have emotions. Your concentration must be very good.

Most of the players will be losing players. I am too. I accept that about myself, i play poker for fun and try to lose as slow as i can It takes lots of work to become winning or even break even player. Play smallest stakes you find, do lots of reading or watch videos on youtoube, to become better player. Or if you dont want to spend so much time for learning poker, then accept , that you are losing player and keep playing for fun.

I do not know why you play for fun. Other players do the same. You like to lose money and to have fun when you playing poker? You have no ambition to make money at low stakes and after that to play in good tournaments, maybe there you will achieve something big?

No, i have no ambition to become proplayer. I have full time job, wife and 3 kids. I do not have time to read about poker, watch videos and learn alot and get better. I do it occasionally, but i have accepted the fact, that to become winning player, it takes lots of hard work, commitment and time. And i dont have the time or will to do that. Its easier to earn money with something else, rather then poker. I play for fun maybe 15-20 minutes a day, thats not enough to get better. I do play more sometimes, when my family is away, but thats it.

It is very difficult to become a professional player but you can learn some good moves. If you do not have time, then you must to try and to learn some tricks and then play.Learn a little and then try to make money. I did not learn strategy and it was harder for me. Now i playing a little better but not too much.

Hi Copyyy,
There's some good advice on here and I'll expand some. First, "do freerolls" would be terrible advice, the prize pools are low and players high so the payout for time invested almost always sucks. If it's for fun then go ahead an enjoy. Seals with clubs (You can register here through BRM) has an hourly freeroll with 30 or so people, I've placed in tons of them, but it's not worth it really, I just ran them while doing other things for fun.
Best advice, find your favourite game mode, cash games, sng, whatever. Then find some guides online and read them, study one game mode type start low stakes and only move up stake when you're winning at that level. Learn pot odds for cash games, or ICM for sng and tourneys
