IS THIS REAL ???? I just got mail from Party poker
partypoker closes 12th August We have had a lot of fun together at partypoker, however from Monday 12th August we will be closing our doors.
What happens now?
Simply withdraw any money in your account as all our services will stop on 12th August. You will still be able to log in and withdraw funds from your account after this date passes.
Any pending bonuses or unused tickets will be converted to cash.
Please get in touch here for further information and queries, including if your funds fall below the minimum cashout.

Havent heard anything about this so far. This is the first news i see about this. The sender may give you some clues. If it is the same one along with the source, then maybe. But it seems a bit strange for a site like this to close its doors in such a sort notice and a period of time...

Probably you are right. This must be the whole thing. They are just abandoning another country, and not shutting down for good. If their profit from a country is minimal or even one, they just walk away. No point spending resources, to a mrket that has no future for them.

Be very careful That is a way to hack your account by clicking on the link they sent you and they will direct you to a page where they will ask you to enter your password and your partypoker user but that is false once you have enter your password and user they will have access to your information and will be able to enter your account and delete or delete all your account or your money that you can have there be very careful friend

Thats not the case when you get email from partypoker<[email protected]> its their official mail and even if you click on the link they send its just their support service if you have any questions or anything scam these days are busted and they only work on people who have no clue and press on everything.

That sounds like very bad news for you guys in Serbia. Are any other countries included? Is there an explanation as to why PartyPoker is closing it’s doors to you in Serbia? Has there been some legal changes or cost related changes that may be in playnhere? Either way it is bad news. Will this affect any promotions that BankrollMob has with PartyPoker, especialybthe Christmas promotions of free tickets or Christmas games there? I am sure all will be revealed soon!

no explanation... just like ivan said in thread... he copied same mail I recived... no explanation, nothing... just they say they are closing doors on 12th august... I dont mind that, just dont want other sites to ban us... I am grinding on GG and if they shut us down, I am phucked...

yup... party only banned serbia,vietnam and japan... and in future it will ban south korea... stil dont know reason, will tell you as soon as I find out

It is very strange that no official information is found on the internet regarding the closure of this room in Serbia. But what I see is that there are already many Serbia players who are receiving this email. Hopefully they will pronounce themselves officially and know the reason.
That sucks, must be a decision from the owners (Bwin) I guess.
Those countries are pretty big poker markets too. Lots of micro stakes grinders and good players from there. I hope they find a solution to come back once the legislation is settled. Untill then, cashout your bankrolls if you have money there!!

But my country is restricted , lol. so the same , I couldn't play there. how is issue about they will move their base camp to another country ? Just more and more player can not play there, should be bad for their income as well. Why didn't they make better solution ? I start boring/sick and tired play at PS need another good poker site

That's really bad news, especially for you guys in Serbia! I hope it's not permanent. This could also have bigger implications tho. If the player pool gets much lower now, the traffic is gonna be slow and that could make some players switch client to play on. It could in turn lead to huge losses for the company. They can't just think in turn of profit for each country individually.

Today I can tell you with certainty that I have been looking for information at the closing of partypoker in Serbia and nothing is found on the internet. This is very rare because normally when you close or restrict access to a country, the room usually communicates as what happened to the United States and Fulltil for example. Someone found some information about the reason for the closing of the room.

it is true... there is thread on 2+2 from tomorow serbia, vietnam and japan will not be able to play on party poker anymore....
