PokerStars teams up with UFC brand  0
another thing where poker stars is sponsor, another market that they want to be more involved and with this spins and go and other things, they want to take UFC fans on their site!with their logo in octagon ring and with this thing with betting at US market, this will bring big business for poker stars!

I do not know how beneficial this alliance is, because i do not look at the UFC and there are a lot of countries, where Pokerstars activates but UFC fans are few. I would say that it is better to promote their logo on TV but also with some generous promotions, gifts and freerolls for his clients.

It looks a good partnership for poker stars. They are gonna have lots and lots
of advertising from these games.
The fights are televised in too many countries.
And they have set up a new series of tournaments with big prizes.
Something easy for them Smile

I think it's very easy for them, as you say, but it's not easy for the players, because the gifts they receive for the wager are smaller than before, and this is not fair play for their clients. Pokerstars must also do something for the customers, if they don't do that, then they will have to lose.

maybe for all of us best thing was when poker stars had only poker games, but in last years they are more in other way of gambling, you can see that in casino games and sport betting, now ufc and all other things!its just new type of gamblers and new generations want this kind of things!

This team-up happened quite some time ago already. There were many instances of UFC branded poker tournaments and UFC slot game casino races on the site already so this is nothing new to me to be honest... But we'll see what new promotions this will bring.

Pokerstars didn't stay at poker because the money can be obtained from many gambling games and also for the Amaya Group (as it was called at the time of purchase) only the profit matters, not the players' satisfaction. Now, i am curious what will happen with this operator.

Poker Stars is one of the biggest name in the poker world, so it was a good promotion for every network to have a partnership with Stars. And for UFC it was a good combination for thwir games. For the future it was necessary to have big partner in this business to grow.

for me this doesnt mean much and I will not play more because of UFC,but for some players, especially younger this will be something and they will come at poker stars!new generatons love new things and they want to play on everything!its same like somebody like to bet when two players play some game on playstation and you bet on who will win!

I really don't know what the benefit of this association is, but the only thing that interests me is that the freeroll that was before came back, since now you only have money to play tournaments, there are very few possibilities that you have to make some money for the tournaments and that bothers me a little Aww crap! Aww crap! Aww crap!

as it should be .... lately PokerStars has been very active in promoting UFK .... so it was clear that they were seeking what privileges ... and here's the news .... Now they have become an exclusive partner for the OFS .... of course. Perhaps this is a good marketing move for PokerStars that will bring them a lot of profit

It's a crosspromotion between the two brands. If they have similar target audiences then it's a win-win for them from a marketing standpoint.

It is a plus in advertisement for both parties. It doesnt offer anything to the players,
i believe. Dont expect any move from sites like that to be a promotion to the players.
And besides that, their promotions are targeting specific players.
And they are far now from giving something absolutely free, like in the past Smile
Perks of being in the top Smile

Well, the players who like to watch/bet-on UFC and play online poker at the same time is not that big number anyway, right?

maybe its not big number of players who like both things, but who know what will happen when they come at USA market and how many players who like both things in same time, they will get!dont think that they doing things like this just like that, they know market well and they will earn from this, just is question how much!

The UFC has been growing exponentially in the past 20 years. From a 1 million dollar company to a 5 billion dollar company in about 20 years... that is just HUGE growth.

Same with stars, if you look at where they were 20 years ago and where they are today, this partnership seem to make sense. But I don't play at stars anymore and probably never will again because they have terrible customer support and no good promotions so I could care less.

Have fun on the tables mobsters!!

For sure I can't play poker while I'm watching fights... Otherwise I would miss all the details

They literally took the market away from professional boxers and boxing promoters - and they were right for doing it.
Boxing grew stale and become an uninteresting spectacle where judges were bought and sold regularly and stats for undeserving players were padded to the roof.
MMA is facing similar problems on some level but the product they bring is way more interesting and the time limits make sure you would not have to watch and follow through something boring for more than fifteen minutes.
