don't demoralize man! it's normal to have a bad streak expecially if you play multi table tournaments... i know it can be frustrating, but it's your choice to play them and if you can't menage with long periods of bad luck you should change format

Not only that but analyze your play. Your gonna have to take risks in a big multitable tourney. You have to get lucky. Dont be afraid to lose. Whats the point of playing for hours and only making 10-50 bucks. Thats the thing that pisses me off the most. You can't sit there and wait for AK and high pairs. Thats just my opinion. gl

the way i play is my first goal is to make the first break, theres a heap of retards in these multi table tournys (cheap buyin) who are all gone by the first break, then my second goal is to make the second break, then i find the game starts as blinds are starting to put the heat on people and lots of people panic, thats when a cool calm head can take advantage, you do have to start taking bigger risks now if you want to make the FT but they dont have to be stupd risks, stay focased, the cards will come, and if you think your ahead get your chips in the middle.

If you make it in the money consistently you are not losing, most players do not achive this. But if you think your results are not good enough, you have to loosen up your game and take more risks. It will result in more early bust outs but you will make it deep from time to time.

Very true, but hard to do. I have the same problem, i dont do many mtt's and for sure not a speccialist but if i play its often bust before bubble or itm small profit. I know i play a good game till first break, after that i need to open up my game but i dont do so often this result in bubble fun.

no one can make the money everytime, as for winning one, everything has to go your way as you all know, you need luck and plenty of it, all you can do is believe in your game and if your game is good then luck will shine on you sooner than if your game was so so

There are players on poker stars that hold up the game and play AA, KK and AKs only. When I say hold up i mean using entire time bank every hand, even if bubble is far from bursting. One guy had 54% ITM finishes for MTT`s and makes around $70 max average a month from 200+ MTT`s. He is not the only one doing this and I sincerely think those are bots because no one could be so stupid and waste 365 days a year for overall of $750 profit from 3000 tourneys. It is just stupid. You have to get lucky at least once in a tourney to reach final table and to win tourney much more than once.

If you make the money a lot of the time then I think you might be playing to tight, grinding too much, you have to take a few more risks, dont let them blinds eat you up, play less hands but bigger range on possition and play them more aggresive, blinds are very valuble at the later stages of a tourn, you should at this stage have a good idea of who will willingly drop blinds for you.
