I am open this thread so we can speak about olympic basketball tourney. Yesterday first suprise happened, the Usa lost against France. Now i am watching Slovenia vs. Argentina. As we having Luka Dončič i don't think they have real chance. Maybe we can even go for the medal with him.

must admit that I didnt watch lot of games (sports) on this olympic games!summer is great,it was weekend,lot of drinks and celebration,so that was main reason!didnt watch even djokovic,so cant tell much about basketball and results! tomorrow I go on sea for 10 days,so probably will watch even more!just will watch red star in football for sure,on wednesday! good luck to slovenia in next games

I don't watch Olympic basketball or in general, because i'm not passionate about it, and the odds on betting are very low for some teams. When you are experienced. you can bet on matches from the USA, other countries or different world competitions. I prefer to look at other places, so i can't help you with any advice.

What a great game it was yesterday for Slovenia. Argentina is far from bad team. But we had our Luka who scores 48 points, just amazing. I think Japan now we must win too and we are out of the grup, Spain will be a bit harder. I am impresed with Luois Scola, 41 years old and still playing solid baskteball.

I remember when Yugoslavia it had certain performances in this sport, and some players were bought by teams from the USA. I don't know if you won awards with the national team, but you reached the semifinals and finals. It is a spectacular sport, that fascinates many fans and whoever wants and knows, can bet here.

Yep yougoslavia had great team in 90's. Petrovic, Divac and all othes that i don't mention. Unfortuonaly we lost against france for 1 point in semifanls. All nation was watcthing this game. But we had heads up, today is game for medal against Australia, i think we got this.

I wish you much success with this match for a medal against Australia because you have players who make great efforts to achieve remarkable performance. Give a lot of time to this sport and it is very beautiful. I could make some bets if i was good at this sport, but i'm not and i orient myself where i can.

Rogerio, i forgot to ask you what's going on with that match. Did you play well, win or lose? I guess you weren't happy, if you didn't say something else. Or maybe i'm wrong and your country were happy at the end of this match. What a result was?

Yeah we lose against France semifanls by 1 point, blocked last attack for win. Then against Australia for 3rd place we just weren't the same anymore, Doncic didn't play his best game and all the team so we lost that too and finish in 4th place. But our country was the only one in semifanls who play month before qulification tourney for olympics, maybe they were tired too. But it's anyway success for our small country. Now in fiba ranking we are 4th team in the world.

These Olympics I really lost all the action , this hadn't happen the previous Olympics , I never lost the most important events and wathed so many hours of games , in all Olympics sice I was a kid . This time I watched nothing at all , lol . I lost my interest . Next year is the World Cup , i hope this virus saga-soapopera , sorry , i meant crisis , will have ended by then

Basketball can become more popular if it is shown more often on television. These television stations offer too much football and tennis, which is why people prefer them more in Europe. I say that this sport deserves more attention because it is a spectacular game.
