Was this as badly played as I think it was?  0
I know I should of bet more on the turn and river, but my thinking behind it was basically just that the 2 and 3 were no problem to me, so i was trying to keep people in. Was pretty stupid. (I clearly didnt at the time think of pairs in the hole lol Aww crap! )

Well, I don`t think that you could do much there. Only thing you could was preflop, to go allin and try to get big stack out of the hand, he might have folded but i don`t think so since he called on QQ flop with 22 hoping to hit 2 outer.

Another thing, did you take too much time to think about your move on the flop? He might have get the wrong idea and thought you were bluffing and just got lucky on turn.

He had chips to call with, needed a bigger bet pre flop to get him off, with a bit of luck that would land you all in with 1 player (the short stack, id guess he would call)

On the flop id of pushed all in, wouldent expect him to hold 33, but dont want to see a flush come out(if he can fold draws) 1200 in to a 5500 pot, id say a little weak,a reasons to call you with any PP, just a shame he hit.
Dont think its perticually bad play, you just ran in to the wrong player at the wrong time.

True that 1200 flop bet is looking like a discount sale.

I think is just an unlucky turn. Not much u could do there, i mean he had 2 outs. I would have busted to. GL on the tables.

Bet on the flop is the problem. 1200 in a pot of ~ 5500? Come on.

One can argue over the betsize preflop too. This was an amount that didn't allow you to raise again, if the shorty should push.

I think the problem here arises from the size of your preflop bet. I think you need to be looking at almost 2500 with the view to shoving the flop. When UTG Limps in it's screaming pocket pair. When CO Limps in and you raise 1200 you know he is going to shove because of the size of his stack, then you dont know what the blinds are going to do and you risk playing this pot with everyone calling with a good hand on the BTN. You priced the large stack into the pot and regardless of what your holding he will be expecting a Cbet on a paired board. If that Cbet was for the rest of your stack he would have folded or at least should have. Thumbs Up

Well he had those chips u see, yea you should nex time bet more exactly. That wasnt that bad play, but like raw diamond, you gotta grind it to shine

I agree with previous posts about too weak bet on flop...I would go all-in in this case or slowplay (but as you see slowplay wouldn't be a nice decision). Anyway it was a bad beat and you were definitely unlucky, even considering the fact that the hand wasn't played as good as it could be.
