I choose Stu Ungar cause I heard he didn't play many tournaments but won a lot of them. I have his tribute book "One of a Kind", I guess I'll read it sometime.

Totally agree with you. Too bad he got ruined by drugs and alcohol Cant help wondering how he would stand against "modern" poker. His ability to read players was unheard of.
If it is the same book as I have read, a really good treat is waiting for you....
I also picked Stu here, for me he's a GREAT No Limit Hold'em player and if was still alive he would have probably 4 more WSOP bracelets under his belt "which is great due to the fact fields are much big nowadays".

Ungar played 33 tournies with a buy-in of 5k or more. He WON 10 of them. He would still be crushing the field if he were still alive(and poker wasn't even his best game, rummy was).

Ok, let's imagine you received $25,000 on a lottery but you will have to play a 25k heads up game vs either Doyle or Stu (let's say he's still alive today) to double the money and do whatever you want, you have both players each one already sitting on a table ready for the match both really want to win that 25k which they win is gonna be with ease So which one you choose? Definitely I go to Brunson without even think about it, as I got more chance there
