I havent won a singel all in for a week now. okej 1 maybe.
I havent lost to much this month only 200 euro. But anyway, shall i stop play poker for i month? Or what should i do Confused

Stopping for a while is probably a good idea but I doubt stopping for a whole month is necessary. A few days should be enough.

Feel sure your luck will change, mine always does, but I always need a short break for the multiple suck outs to stop clouding my judgement.

Good luck, Dell

AHI Disagree 1 month of bad luck is so hard! Yes probably you need of a stop. Don't play for 10 - 15 days so you can return stronger. Blink

Seams too long to me, but i dont experiance bad downswings, guss im lucky Big Smile
You might have the best hand entering the pot but if a player has enough out hes gonna call.
Im sorry to say bad luck normally means bad play, weather you recongnise it or not, id say look over your all ins and what te call with etc.
But for now id say kck up you feet and relax, dont get involved in games when you are expecting bad beats, if you go looking for trubble you will find it.

"sorry to say bad luck normally means bad play"

Completly Disagree !!! Big Smile

Although I think it is a good idea to have a look at the hands he lost to find out if they where really played right. But it can only be bad play or bad luck.
If it`s bad play then it is not bad luck if You loose. Then You get outplayed by smarter people.

The question here is: What means "I have the best hand"
And when Do You go all in ?
If You go all in preflop then You will loose a lot to weaker hands because after the flop Your own hand can be worthless already. If You go all in on a suited board or paired board then You have to expect someone else holding a strong hand. Maybe You should make a big bet instead of an all in. If You get called and dont have the nuts YOu should consider folding. This will at least leave You some chips to recover again.

But You can also be on a downswing. Take a break for some days and maybe post some of YOur hands to poker forums to get help from other players. Maybe You are playing the hands wrong - maybe not.
If not then return to the tables after a break and keep playing YOur good game.
Though there is no guarantee - If YOu play right You will win YOur hands in the long run.

Nahh...don't worry you'll get your turn.......Mr Variance Evil makes no exceptions he'll just hit you that much harder when he realizes it's your turn believe me Disagree (point being....your AA will get cracked as often as mine if we play it the same way).

There is actually softwares which calculates your all-in luck so you can check in the end of a bad month if you won the exspected on your AI's or you've been unlucky in the particular month.

Lady Variance & Mister Badbeat Tongue

dennispkr, ya, you shouldn't play if you are not in the right frame of mind. But if you are than you should play the limits depending on your bankroll.

I feel your pain, mate! Have had a really bad week myself but think it's just karma making sure it's balance in the universe Blink

Last night I had AA cracked twice (not all-in before flop), and then this for bad beat:

Limped in with AJos. Flop shows KQ10 rainbow. After some bidding me and another end up all-in for about 30$. He shows QQ and I'm thinking I have the nutz.....but then....turn dead....on the river.....a Q!!! Should point out that there were 2 more bidders preflop so I sort of gathered that there shouldn't be too many high cards left in the deck - talk about bad luck Sad

Then again.....actually won a couple of all-ins with "lesser" hands so I'm hoping my luck is turning.

So...have to agree with most others here - keep playing strong hands and you WILL win - just be careful with those all-ins preflop Smile

Just a suggestion.

STOP GOING ALL IN..

People use the all in button far too easily and 90% of the time they overvalue their hands when doing so.

Why anyone would go ALL IN pre flop with AQ, AK, QQ, JJ or lower pairs is completely beyond me.

Then you get people shoving all in with top pair with an Ace kicker, or an overpair to the board.

If you are losing every all in hand then simply you are going all in too much and with hands that just arent strong enough to warrant it.

Its not the poker site thats bad, its your play. Sorry but thatst the simple truth.

I hope not M3, i hope my loses at the casinos will see it off Aww crap!
Still playing higher limits so cant afford a downswing, but am not playing enough to experiance it (so far so good, they aint that scary and lots predictable, sometimes i feel i know what they are going to do before they even know it)
Anyway, would be intresting if you was to post a few hands dennispkr (from your badbeats)
And what limits you are playing, then im sure you will get some help, advice or just a god damn your unlucky.

But that is clearly not the case, he said himself that he has had the best hand every time he has gone all in so as long as he has sound bankroll management it is sound play, it doesn't really matter what you have as long as you have the best hand.

@B1gfoot....Lets hope not. I just ment in theory you can win 100% flips over a month or more but sooner or later you will lose more than you win on your flips so things even out. 50% is 50% so when you win a flip and is all happy about it just remember you didn't win those money only loaned them untill next race. To win money you gotta get in ahead or make opponent fold. Another example would be AA vs KK AI pre you should win around 82 of 100 but could win 300 in a row but sooner or later you will get a period where you lose more than 18% to get you down to the right win %(82).

Some rough examples hope you catch my drift.

Not really, that is pretty much the point of variance, you can win 100% of your flips one month, but that is by no means loaning it. Every time you flip you have 50 % of winning it roughly. If you have won 200 in a row in the past doesn't change things, since every one is irrespective of the ones in the past. I.E. you can't scout a roulet table for an entire day and wait for the time when black/red is due (hasn't been up for a long time) since every time it's 50/50.
