Hand one. Bet the turn. Then you don't have that difficult decision with one card missing to a straight at the river.

Hand two. If you don't bet the turn (scared of the ace) you can't call the river.

Completely agree with shokaku Smile perfect scrutiny of the two hand by an expert player Smile. You must absolutely bet on the turn in the first hand

Either that or easily fold the river, I see the same problem in a lot of players game, have a huge range of hands with which you call large bets and a very small raising range. The same goes for the seccond hand, while there is the posibility that he has the ace you have position on him and if you dont feel you can bet the turn you shouldn't call the river, since I actually think his river bet seems more like he'd have an ace.

so i had to bet the turn on the first hand. i see the mistake now.
but what if i bet the second hand and he moves all in ill have to fold but he could be playing the scarecard not knowing what he had i choosed pot control and give him the chance to bluff me on the river did you see the guys hand if the river was a 3-4-6-7-9 he would off stabbed at the pot i think maybe im wrong i dont know but i appreciate the advice

Well its been said, bet the turn, not sure why you gave a free card, was a chck going to improve your hand, not only did you allow the "bad beat" but even if he didnt hit st8 he would have had good reason to bluff you there and you would have to fold. Also dont like your call on the river, ok you left him room to make a move but why would he unless he has it?
2nd hand.
Again you gave it away, dont know why you didnt bet the turn, looks like the know you bet flop but not turn so altho i think his call is bad he knows he will get a free card (2 for 1 if you like) and agin you call the river?
You are the reason you lost them hands, but i think you will learn, GL.
