I think it depends on what type of poker do you want to play. Cash games? MTT? Sit'n'go?

A similar thread comes up time and time again. You should search the forum for similar threads and you will get a general opinion. My personal favourite is full tilt but I think party is a good starter; lots of free money, freerolls and lots of players. I don't know which site has the worst players. I hear other people comment on this but I don't really notice.
