I am writing here because i want to say that i will stop playing poker for a long time! The reason is that in this moment I tilt very easily. I cant stand the bad beats and my mind is weak so i tilt and go to casino games. Because of this in my entire poker history I lose money! So my decision is to stop playing poker untill August! But my intentions is to continue writing in this site, helping in what i can! Thanks
Well, if you really can take a break of 3 months without playing online poker then I would suggest you to do it. Yes, go ahead and do it because after you'll find yourself fresh and very hungry to play and win. Most importantly you'll not have your mind weak and you'll not tilt VERY easily. Yes, it's a good idea that you at least keep dropping here at BRM and help others. Good luck
When I start to tilt, Im usually doing a break, it can take few hours up to 1 week. I'd suggest not to use so much time in front of your Computer, when being in tilt-mood, better go out with your friends etc., it helps a lot.

lol @ doomdy
When I tilt I usually just stop for a bit. Not even a whole day. I don't think I could not play for three months. Unless I lost a serious amount of money, which is hardly likely since I haven't deposited my own money since I got my first no deposit bonus and I'm not doing too badly with my accounts. I play poker mainly for fun so I'm not really going to take a break until I find something else to preoccupy me or get bored of poker.

Tilt is all part of the game, if it gets to you stop,d play again when in a good mood. Going to the casino on tilt, 1 spin and its all gone huh, been there $100 bj games, never a good idea. My advice go sort out your weak mind, when you do come tell me how you did it, i hate casinos, id be loaded if it wasnt for god damn casinos. Gl for when you return.

good luck - poker is addictive to most and hard to quit....been there done that...what one has to remember it is just a game - and most people will lose more than win...so for an investment of $30 say...you can play many hours of poker - say 10 hours.....so for $3 an hour it's great entertainment

You dont need to stop that long, unless you just play once a week. Being in a tilt level means one of two things: or you are not acting conciously of the alue of your hand, or your opponents are having the right card they needed on the river (some call it "luck" . Perhaps, instead of playing, you should read some poker stuff. I'm not saying you need to learn, i'm saying that reading about the experience of others can help you get through that hard time. Believe me, it worked with me!
