Sometimes when I feel like just seeing cards or trying out new tactics I go onto play money tables, what do people think of this? I am beginning to think that maybe it will adversely affect my style of play at real money tables or maybe it is good practice for the different situations you will run into in the real money world? I haven't decided yet....:?

You can't compare play money play with the real thing. Tactics that might work there can fail on the real money tables. It may be good to learn the rules of new versions thoo
I red this thing somewhere once and it makes perfectly sense.
"If you are a pro, why would you practice with the amateurs?, it will only affect your game in the negative way".
just try new tactics on the table if it works you get paid off, if you lose, you know it ain't good and since you lost money, you'll never do it again .

.. I agree with posts above... When you play with "playmoney" you can do any "tactic" you want but still some guy go goes all in with 2, 3 and...... prolly wins . Its kind a sad....

I never play in the playmoney tables because there the chips haven't really a value and players you all-in with anything, so you can't play strategic poker...
