Hi all, someone tells me that online poker in Europe is not legal... but seems strange to me : so many players, big lobby as pokerstars that accept players from all europe...
Have you any information about that? Im personnally leaving in Belgium, so its a bit boring if poker is not legal...

online gambling is perfectly legal in Belgium as far as I'm aware but it's not legal everywhere in Europe. There are many countries in Europe so its impossible to say the laws which apply to all of them. I know we're good in the UK at the moment. I also hear that it may soon change in America thanks to Obama.

Okay, thx for your answer ^^ Ive made my research and yeah, its legal in belgium (if the online site is not based in belgium).
Now there is still one thing we need in belgium : a real big pro -_- we dont really have actually, only some good players, but unknow (do you already seen a belgian on high stakes poker... no XD). I think Belgium have actually only one bracelet...
As far as I know - in Russia poker was introduced like a sport game (only Texas Hold'em) , it happend not so long ago and now all the gamblers in casinos think that they are sportsmen
In Italy law allows to play only in pokerrooms authorized. Pokerstars is one of them but we can play sitngo's and MTT only: no cash games. Of course there is the possibility to download many pokerrooms but it's not 100% legal
