Day 1 of the $1,500 Seven Card Stud event saw a stellar field gathering to compete for a WSOP bracelet. David Levi will enter Day 2 as the chip leader, but he is not alone.
The $1,500 buy-in Seven Card Stud tournament attracted many pros, inlcuding Ylon Schwartz, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, Justin Bonomo, Men Nguyen, Andy Bloch (pictured right) and others. With a field of 359 players, the total prize pool nearly reached $500,000. Top 40 spots will get paid with the first place finisher receiving $124,975.
By the end of the day, only 97 players were still alive. Mike Caro, Amnon Filippi, Shawn Sheikhan, Ted Forrest, Justin Bonomo and many more were not amongst the survivors. Meanwhile, Eli Elezra, Jason Mercier and John Juanda all had a good day and finished high on the leaderboard.
With many top pros left in the tournament, spectators will certainly have something to enjoy on Day 2. Though the 2007 Stud bracelet winner Jeff Lisandro is probably not overjoyed with a minefiled of pros he needs to cross if he wants to secure himself another Stud bracelet.

They are down to the final table allready. Lisandro and Juanda both made it there. Thor Hansen was the last player to be knocked out before the final table.
