Once there was a guy who wanted to play at the first poker tournament having place in the nearest casino from where he lived. The guy was preparing his wedding and, at this time, there was no money to spend in other things than marriage stuff. Showing what friends are for, a few of the best decided to pay for his buy-in, like a farewell single gift. He went and won the first prize.
This story really happened, on the last sunday, 14th June, in Portugal, at the First Betfair Portuguese Poker Tour Figueira da Foz, that joined 179 players with a €500+€50 buy-in and had a prizepool of €86.816. My big friend The Asics won this fantastic event, entering to the portuguese poker hall of fame. Here is the final hand, played against the portuguese pro Arise, another portuguese promise in the poker world.
Final Hand: The Asics complete Arise raise 75.000 The Asics call
Flop: 3s , 10c , Js Arise bet 100.000 The Asics raise all-in Arise call
The Asics shows Jc , Qc Arise tem Jh , 6s
Turn: 9h River: 5h
The Asics finished first winning €23.874! Congratulations my friend!

Posted by doomdy: Like ur story fakiry Was he allready experienced player or a newbee?
He is playing for about 4 years in a more competitive and professional way, although he still haven't had such a great victory like this! His friends like him, but they wouldn't pay him a €550 buy-in if he was a newbee
Thats one hell of a way to say thank you for a chipstack.
The guy who won tournament is my friend and he is going to get married this weekend He had a great night with the guys who payed him the buy-in after the event!
