J.C. Tran entered the day with a healthy stack and quickly built it up, eliminating one opponent after another on his way to the top. Eventually, the race for the title came down to him and Jeff Kimber.
The final nine players returned on Day 3 of the $2,500 PLO event to determine who would walk away with the WSOP bracelet. Jeff Kimber entered the day with as the chip leader, while John Juanda wasn't looking too comfortable with his short stack.
Juanda had the shortest stack and also the shortest appearance at the final table, as he was the first player to leave his seat. Theo Jorgensen was the next one to bite the dust after a hand against J.C. Tran. Action began with a raise to 55,000 from Tran, Jorgensen raised the pot, putting in 140,000 more and Tran made the call.
The flop came 3s3h5h, Tran bet half the pot and Jorgensen called with his remaining chips. Tran showed 8cTc9h7h and Jorgensen revealed AcKsKd7s. The turn brought 4d and with the 6s on the river, Tran caught a straight which eliminated Jorgensen in 8th place.
Tran continued to dominate the final table and knocked out another player. This time it was Chad Layne who had to pack his bags. Tran opened with a raise to 60,000, Layne three-bet to 200,000, Tran re-raised enough to put Layne all-in and a call came from Layne's corner. Tran turned over KhKsJc5h and Layne showed AsJdTs8d. The board came Tc3d3c5s4h and Tran's kings held up to bust Layne in 7th place.

PKR is very happy bout this one, they sponsorred him PKR is over advertising the WSOP event unreal, everywhere is a PKR logo. I expect i big boom at PKR after the WSOP, and if the yanks join in the future PKR cud double in just short time.
