hahahaha what a funny game poker is.after all me years playing live and online poker ive come to realise one thing,,no matter the limit,no matter the table,all poker players think they pros.does this make us delusional or is the love of the game blinding us to reality that even tho we win most players lose,but we still come back for more.all fish in an ocean of sharks.

You need to think this way, or you enter a table thinking you the underdog, and ppl wil notice. Surly no one enters a table thinking im going to lose. BTW I am a pro and have a T-shirt to prove it.

Yea allmost everyone at the table thinks they are pro but they usually are the biggest fishes. Mocking me becouse "ii bet hard becouse i didn't put him on a flush draw" people say the most retarded things sometimes without realising it

if it had not been like this there would be no fish and no fun in poker. If u don't feel you are gonna win then why would anyone risk his/her money. btw I don't think it qualifies as a delusion as when we lose we do realise we are not pros(which is contrary of a delusion), its just an overvalued idea.

I have not met one poker player that don't think they are pros...after losing 900$ and not cashing in a penny the guy still thinks he is gonna win...
The real sharks are the poker sites and yes we are all fishes paying 20% tourney fees and 5-10% cash game rake fee,that's a 5-20% house edge...classic blackjack has less than 1% house edge,so really the real pros are those that don't play on poker sites and avoid rake fees go to a bar and spark some poker games
To tell you the truth I do not put my own money into poker sites I just get free bankrolls...There is not way to escape rake fees and house advantages in the end,I only invest my own money on casino sites and abuse their sign up bonuses,really the only way to not be a fish is to be an advantage player....
The only line that seperates the losing gambler from the winning gambler is advantage gambling

yep, when im enter a table, im always saying myself that im the best, beating all those players by my skills... maybe (surely XD) its not true, but it helps to be confident in your read (what its often hard, and trust me, generally we have a good feeling, just need to trust !! ).
Only thing is to always thint that in poker, you must always upgrade your play...

Sometimes i play the "oh boy, almost loosing" when playing with friends and it works. You start saying you are short stack, this isnt your night, you havent been sleeping for a week, and you start making stronger bets with better hands, saying its almost time for you to go away. Only works with friends. All other times you just got to make others feel you are the best, its part of the game. P.S. Got to buy a poker t-shirt quick!

I don't think I'm a pro or I wouldn't be playing the low limits I do. I'm good enough to hold my own there, though.
I think I know what you mean, though. There are plenty of people telling me I've done the wrong thing and calling me names, even though I come in the money when they don't.
Can'T get enough of poker either. Internet nice, playing with friends on my personal table here at home , the best it's so much fun to gamble with friends ^^

When I play poker i really dont think that im the bet in the table. We have to have respect for our opponents and consider that probably there are better players in the table! But in online poker there are a lot more of fishes,. And they are them who gonna give us profit!

Yeah we all ways come back for more even if we get bad beats all day long (as long as our bankroll can handle it) We'll be back tomorrow or the next day... How many of us say "thats it i will give up for a week / month / year" it never lasts we all belive we can change our luck and get out of the hole we dug our self...lol POKER IS A DRUG.....
